Katie Price’s sex addict husband Kieran Hayler confesses to fling with nanny revealing it was ‘cheap and cold, and she may as well have been 80’
KATIE Price’s husband has admitted his sex addiction is so ferocious he would have cheated with an 80-year-old.
Kieran Hayler has spoken out for the first time since nanny Nikki Brown denied Katie’s revelations of the affair and branded the Loose Women star a liar.
Today he confesses to romping with the 40-year-old nanny five times in the marital home over a six month period but says it was “cheap, cold and meaningless”.
Kieran, 30, said: “This wasn’t a big love affair, I didn’t fancy Nikki. I’m a sex addict and needed a thrill. If our nanny had been 80 I’d probably have tried to manipulate her into having sex too.
“It didn’t matter who it was, I just wanted a fix. If it wasn’t her it would have been someone else. It was a means to an end, the thrill of the chase.
“Can you imagine how embarrassed I am about being a sex addict, mortified at admitting this? Look at Katie . . . and look at her!
"I’ve hurt her, betrayed her and now need to stand up for her. However bad I feel, I know I have made Katie feel worse.”
Kieran has revealed how he:
- RETURNED to a £300-an-hour sex addiction therapist this week to show his wife he wants to save the marriage;
- SUFFERED depression after he wrongly thought Katie had cheated on him;
- SCRUBBED his body after the seedy laundry room and bathroom romps;
- WANTS to ask the nanny he now hates why she denied their affair.
Kieran married Katie in 2013 and after cheating on her with two of her friends — Jane Poutney and Chrissy Thomas — he had therapy and was diagnosed a sex addict.
He thought he was cured but in August 2016 he discovered Katie, 39, had been secretly texting DJ Tom Zanetti and cheated again.
Kieran admits: “My head went. Katie said it was just flirting — and in hindsight that is all it was.
“The messages seemed terrible at the time and I built it up in my head. I got depressed and weak.
“After spending considerable money on therapy I stopped going. I thought I’d kicked it but I hadn’t."
So he preyed on Nikki, who had been hired in March 2015 to help care for their kids Jett Riviera, three, and two-year-old Bunny as well as Katie’s sons Harvey, 15, and Junior, 11, and daughter Princess, nine.
Kieran said: “She was a good nanny, great with the kids. I didn’t know her well. I just knew she was local, 40, single and lived with her parents.”
Nikki was there when he and Katie renewed their vows in the Maldives.
But Kieran says nothing happened until he seduced her in the utility room of their Sussex home while the rest of the family were out in August last year.
Shaking his head, he said: “I saw an opportunity and manipulated her with some flattering words. I needed the excitement. The risk factor helped, knowing it was at home we could get caught.
“It is sick but the fact she knew Katie added to the thrill. That is why I had sex with her friends previously. I know that is dreadful.
“She was in the laundry room and I went in, kissed her and initiated sex. We were stood up, we didn’t even take our clothes off.
“There was no passion. She never said we shouldn’t do it, that she didn’t want to even though she knew I was a sex addict.”
Kieran said they did not even discuss what they had done.
He said: “There weren’t even sideways glances, no secret chats. For me, as a sex addict, I’d got what I wanted, my fix. It’s like a haze comes over me, like I have a split personality. I needed to do it.”
Kieran says he was messaging another woman around the same time too.
He said: “Katie found those messages recently and was furious. Looking at them now I realise I was flirting, I was clearly on the hunt, looking for that thrill. But honestly at the time I didn’t realise I was doing it, f***ed up.”
After he and Nikki had sex he returned to being a loving husband.
He said: “I remember scrubbing myself in the shower feeling dirty and horrid. I blocked it from my mind and tried to forget about it.
"I wouldn’t feel guilty around Katie because I would kind of pretend it hadn’t happened. But when I was on my own and had time to think I’d get breathless, in a panic, sick that I’d done it.”
But a few weeks later they were alone again. He told us: “It was a buzz to know I’d done it once so could do it again. It was like a game of manipulation, feeding the addiction; it was as though I was trying to destroy myself.
“It only ever happened in the laundry room or family bathroom. I just found the opportunities and took them.
“It happened about five or six times over six months and was always the same as the first time.
“I don’t know what she got out of it. I don’t really know anything about her. It was a weird f***ed up situation.”
The pair last had sex in February this year. Nikki then quit earlier this summer.
Kieran says she wanted a job with fixed hours — something they couldn’t provide because of Katie’s irregular work.
He said: “I did speak to her and email afterwards just to sort out her wages and do a reference.”
But last month Katie found the emails where Kieran called her his “best friend” and he finally admitted the affair. Katie angrily demanded a divorce.
Fiddling with his diamond wedding ring, he said: “I called her my best friend because I was still manipulating her, I didn’t want her to tell Katie.
"What I’ve done to Katie makes me sick. It’s unforgivable. Katie is stunning and knows I didn’t do any of this because of her.
“It’s an addiction. I wish I was an alcoholic or drug addict, my actions wouldn’t be seen as such a personal attack on Katie.
“Sex is seen as intimate but when I do this it’s not at all. Katie is different at home to the celebrity you see on TV, she’s vulnerable and I hate myself for what I’ve done to her.”
Kieran is scared of losing her and has been spending as much time as possible at the family home, staying in the spare bedroom.
He will be there this weekend caring for the children. He said: “We’ve both been in tears, we both love each other.
“But I know that as things stand for Kate it is over. I will try to turn that round but I have to accept that I may fail and I will be the only one to blame.
“I’m trying to be a good husband. I’m trying to help with the kids as much as I can. And I’ve started therapy again.
“It is an illness, something that stems from my childhood that’s messed with my head, I now know I need the counselling.
“Katie was angry, she screamed that she wants a divorce. She’s terrified of trusting me and I need to prove to her that she can. I’ve hurt the person I love the most.”

THE mums of Katie and Kieran listened in horror as nanny Nikki Brown confessed to her sleazy fling.
Amy Price and Wendy Hayler are regular visitors to the family home in West Sussex.
And distraught Katie, 39, rang Nikki, 40, while they were there to prove what she was telling them about Kieran was true.
He revealed the grans listened in by loudspeaker and admitted: “My mum was furious — is furious. She loves me but she’s angry with me for what I’ve done to Katie. She totally supports Katie.
“She wants us to work it out though. She wants us to remain a family.”
He added: “My mum comes down every week to see all the children. Her and Amy have been there for us both. They watched us get married, watched us say our vows.
“Obviously I feel dreadful on them too.”
He is angry that Nikki has completely denied the affair and claimed Katie was looking for someone to blame for their marriage breakdown.
Kieran said: “I’ve already done plenty to cause the breakdown of my marriage so that is ridiculous.
“I hate Nikki for calling Katie a liar. I am not blaming Nikki for what happened between us but I’m angry she’s lying about it.
“Maybe it’s because she thinks it affects her future as a nanny, maybe she’s embarrassed.
“I am embarrassed sitting here talking about it, knowing that my kids will know the truth one day.
“What I did is disgusting and hurtful to Katie and I am man enough to accept that. I am the scumbag, not her.
“Katie is a wonderful wife and I adore her. Every day she is still speaking to me is a milestone.”
