Victoria star Jenna Coleman flashes a bare hand as she’s spotted for the first time since sparking rumours she’s engaged to co-star boyfriend Tom Hughes

VICTORIA star Jenna Coleman is continuing to keep fans guessing amid rumours that she and co-star Tom Hughes have got engaged.

The pair were thought to have taken their relationship to the next level when Jenna was spotted last week with a ring on her wedding finger - but it was nowhere to be seen when she stepped out yesterday.

The 31-year-old was pictured wearing a vintage ring on her left hand during a screening for ITV1's Victoria.

The star did nothing to hide the dainty gold band, featuring a sparkling gem stone, as she posed for photographers on the red carpet.

Stepping out with Tom in London on Tuesday, however, the actress initially seemed keen to keep her wedding finger away from prying eyes.

When waiting snappers did finally get a glimpse it was noticeably bare, with the vintage ring nowhere to be seen.

Jenna has never spoken about 31-year-old Tom being her boyfriend despite the couple dating for about two years but has gushed about how he is perfect for playing Prince Albert in the past.

She said: “The producers and I came up with an ideal Albert, and [Hughes] was the top of everyone’s list. There isn’t anybody more perfect for the part.

“We’ve been friends for six or seven years now. Working with a friend you never know what it’s going to be like, but we’ve always got the same ideas so it just works.”

And discussing the importance of sex between the characters, she told The Radio Times: "I think sex was a huge part of their relationship.

"They were a young couple, completely and utterly in love, who went on to have nine children.

"Albert to her was a hero, she adored him, and sex was a huge part of that."
