Towie’s Megan McKenna looks sensational as she shows off her long legs in sparkly cowgirl outfit and joins co-stars for filming new scenes
TOWIE's Megan McKenna looked every inch the glamorous cowgirl as she led the cast at a glitzy American-themed party in Essex.
The 24-year-old spent the summer filming a solo reality show in Nashville, Tennessee, so it's no surprise she looked right at home in her cowgirl hat while out and about with co-stars including Yazmin Oukhellou, Amber Dowding and Amber Turner on Wednesday.
The brunette beauty looked sensational as she highlighted her flat stomach and trim figure in a sequinned bandeau crop top and matching mini skirt.
She teamed her eye-catching outfit with a pair of tan cowboy boots and dark brown hat.
The Essex star struck a series of poses outside the hoedown party before doubling over in laughter for the cameras.
Showing off a golden bronze tan, the star sported incredibly voluminous hair, which she styled in tousled waves.
Finishing the ensemble was minimal make-up, a gold watch and single gold bangle around her wrist.
Megan spent July over in the States working on solo show, There's Something About Megan.
The ITVBe programme followed Megan as she attempted to crack the lucrative country music market, visited venues associated with legendary country acts, and completed her experience by performing a music showcase.
“I have been a country music fan my whole life so to go to the place where some of my favourite country music artists have recorded really is a dream come true," she said.
A source told The Sun: "Megan has an incredible voice and singing is her greatest love.
“It’s what she spends her downtime doing away from the cameras and to make it her main career is a dream come true.
“She’s been a long-time fan of Dolly Parton and loves that kind of country folk music so it makes sense to go to Nashville to lay down tracks with some of the best in that business to give her the biggest chance of success.”
While Megan went all out for the American theme, her boyfriend Pete Wicks, 28, was more subtle in his outfit choice.
The tattooed star rocked up to the bash in his usual uniform of skinny jeans and white T-shirt, but added a fringed dark brown jacket to cover his cowboy bases.
Megan and Pete - who rekindled their romance in June following a fiery split earlier this year - weren't the only Towie couple at filming today.
Loved up couple Chris Clark and Amber couldn't keep their hands off each other when they arrived in matching checked shirts.
While Chris opted for a green and black checked shirt, his other half went for a red version.
Amber knotted her shirt at the waist to highlight her flat stomach, and showed off her toned legs in a pair of minuscule denim hot pants.
The couple reunited their romance this year following a brief time apart, in which Chris enjoyed a short-lived fling with Little Mix star Jesy Nelson.
Amber was seen tenderly stroking Chris' chin while they posed for photos outside the club on Wednesday, proving the couple are back on track and ready to battle Megan and Pete for the Towie power couple crown.
Meanwhile, Chris' older brother Jon Clark and returning co-star Mike Hassini also went for checked shirts, while Courtney Green's boyfriend Myles Barnett was another star who opted for a checked shirt as an easy costume option.
Courtney matched her boyfriend by tying a red shirt around her waist, slipping into a small pair of denim shorts and draping a denim jacket over her shoulders.
Courtney's BFF Chloe Meadows looked stunning in a plaid flared mini skirt and ripped denim shirt tied at the waist while she posed with boyfriend Taylor Barnett, a new addition to the Towie cast this year.
Also turning heads was Yazmin, who arrived without boyfriend James 'Lockie' Lock.
She stunned in extremely short, high waisted hot pants and a billowing white shirt, which she teamed with leg-lengthening perspex shoes.
Check was clearly a popular choice of pattern as fellow Towie stars Lauren Pope and Amber Turner also chose the style.
Lauren covered up in high waisted flared jeans and a long-sleeved shirt, which she left unbuttoned to the waist.
Amber chose to get her legs out in a bum-skimming pair of denim shorts.
Also flashing the flesh were Towie newbies Ruby Lacey and Maddie Hooper.
Ruby opted for a figure-hugging denim playsuit and sky high blue heels, while Maddie went for a subtle take on the cowboy theme memo, and turned up in a grey denim skirt and flared off the shoulder top.
Another star who didn't exactly embrace the costume theme was Dan Edgar, who arrived in ripped jeans and a pale grey shirt, while Bobby Cole Norris wore pale jeans and a pink shirt over a white T-shirt.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, returning star Mario Falcone seemed to embrace the theme and looked like a real life Woody from Toy Story.
He wore ripped black jeans, a button denim shirt, cowboy boots and matching hat, and tied a red bandana around his neck.
Towie returns for its 21st series later this month with a slew of surprises in store.
It will kick off with a special episode filmed in Marbella over the summer and feature the return of fan favourite faces such as Lauren Pope, Mario Falcone, James 'Arg' Argent and Mike Hassini.
There are three newbies so far: Georgia Kousoulou's close friends Ruby Lacey and Maddie Hooper, and Chloe Meadows' boyfriend Taylor Barnett.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed three weeks ago that Ruby and Maddie had been cast on the ITVBe show.
A source said: "Georgia has become one of the most popular Towie girls ever - she is well-loved with Towie fans and bosses wanted to bring her some mates onto the show.
"Viewers can look forward to seeing a lot more of Georgia and her friends this series."
Ruby is a hairdresser who specialises in Beauty Works hair extensions, while Maddie is a lash technician.
The Sun Online also broke the news that Chloe's handsome builder boyfriend Taylor had been snapped up by Towie bosses after she finally gave the go-ahead to share her romance on screen.
“Chloe’s so happy Taylor has joined the show,” said a source. “She’s really happy with him so it seemed like the next logical step.”
