Who is Paul Zerdin?
Paul Zerdin is a British comedian and ventriloquist from London.
He got his first puppet from a family friend when he was 10-years-old and his love of performing was born.
Before auditioning for America's Got Talent, Paul made a number of TV appearances in the UK including presenting kids show Rise and Shine on GMTV for two years and winning The Big Big Talent Show in 1996.
The ventriloquist, 47, is touring the UK in 2019 with his Puppet Party.

When did he win America's Got Talent?
Paul auditioned for America's Got Talent in 2015 and his mixture of comedy and skills as a ventriloquist was a hit with the judges and viewers alike.
He was given the golden buzzer vote by judge, actor and comedian Marlon Wayans.
Paul went on to win the show, receiving $1million (£832k) prize money and a headline residency show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
The star's act mainly features an adorable puppet called Sam, but Paul also features a pensioner puppet called Albert and a third character called Baby.
Will Paul Zerdin be on Britain's Got Talent: The Champions?
Paul featured in Champions episode two on September 7, 2019.
He was up against dance act MerseyGirls and BGT 2018 winner Lost Voice Guy.
Paul failed to make it into the final after receiving the second highest votes in the superfan vote.
MerseyGirls won the vote and Alexa Lauenburger got the Golden Buzzer from Ant and Dec.
Paul also took part in America's Got Talent: The Champions but unfortunately came second in the public vote there too and didn't make it through to the final.

Paul won $1million dollars after triumphing on America's Got Talent but his net worth will have increased since then having toured the US and appearing on TV.
He also starred in the London Palladium's first pantomime in 30 years, Cinderella, over the 2016-17 season and embarked on a UK tour called All Mouth in 2017.

Paul likes to keep his personal life private, but after his America's Got Talent win, he was pictured arriving back at London's Heathrow airport with girlfriend Robin Mellor.
According to reports Robin sometimes works as his stage assistant during his shows.
Paul was married to Joanne Conway, who he met at the Pleasure Beach in Blackpool.
