Perrie Edwards is slammed by trolls after boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is lined up to move from Arsenal to Chelsea
PERRIE Edwards has been targeted by trolls following the revelation her footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be moving from Arsenal to rival club Chelsea.
News of Alex's potential move made waves yesterday and fans were quick to react with some leaving cruel messages on the Little Mix star's social media profiles.
Instagram users commented on Perrie's recent holiday snaps with rows of snake emojis while others left harsh messages.
One unimpressed Arsenal fan wrote: "Your bf is a b****y w****r leaves after all we did for him and the patience we had."
Another added: "Your boyfriends a snake."
While one of the singer's fans commented: "Your boyf is a snake, you deserve better."
Another wrote: "Going out with a snake."
As hundreds commented with strings of snake emojis, more of Perrie’s 6.7million followers rushed to defend her.
One wrote: "What the hell is wrong with some people perrie is not the reason that alex leaves arsenal, this is his choice and you should have some respect!!"
Another added: "I can't understand why people hate on Perrie because Alex left Arsenal, it was his choice and he's happy with it."

Reports claim Chelsea have agreed a £40 million fee with Arsenal to sign midfielder Alex, though Liverpool are also meant to be keen to sign the England player.
The Ox, 24, still has to discuss personal terms with Antonio Conte’s Blues.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is out of contract next summer and rejected an offer of £180,000-a-week to stay at the Emirates.
Perrie and Alex have been going from strength to strength since getting together at the end of last year.
The Sun revealed in November that she was dating the striker.
The couple have tried to keep their romance out of the spotlight but in January 2017 Perrie posted her first pic of her new love at her house.
In June they kept their followers up-to-date during an idyllic holiday to the Caribbean.
