Lisa Riley reveals she had more than A STONE of saggy skin surgically removed after losing 12 stone
The Emmerdale star and Loose Women panellist revealed her confidence was knocked when her weight loss results weren't what she hoped
LISA Riley has revealed she had more than a STONE worth of saggy skin surgically removed after losing 12 stone.
The former Emmerdale star and Loose Women panellist let a documentary crew film her struggles with body image after losing a huge amount of weight - and finding her baggy skin was still getting her down.
Lisa says the loose skin left her wondering whether it would have been better never to lose weight.
She said: "When I made the decision to lose weight, I never for one second imagined that I would end up looking like that. It never occurred to me that the loose skin would be so bad.
"I thought why on earth have I lost all this weight? I looked worse than I did when I was obese.
"And it was the pain as well. The skin was flapping about and dragging.
"I felt like I had done so well losing the weight but I had ended up with the booby prize.
"I was revolted by my own image, it was rancid."

Lisa was distraught to find this obstacle in her way, but quickly made friends online who were going through the same issues.
After meeting up with them in person, it gave her the confidence to go under the knife - and she has not looked back.
The whole process will be documented in Lisa Riley's Baggy Body Club on ITV at 9pm on Tuesday September 5.
Lisa previously spoke about experiencing complications following her surgery in March this year.
The gruelling surgery left Lisa with a "weeping wound" although she was chuffed with her new look.
"I keep stroking myself, I can't believe it," Lisa quipped as she made her entrance onto the show but she soon spoke about the realities of having such a major operation.
However, she also confessed that it had not been all plain sailing with the star having to spend as much time lay down due to her leg wound had yet to fully heal.
She said: "My leg wound is weeping daily.
"I have to sit down and lay down as much as I can."
Lisa also shared an incredible flashback photo with her fans on Twitter, and admitted that she's come such a long way, sometimes she doesn't remember who she used to be.
She wrote: "Sometimes it hits me,TRULY don't recognise the person in the other photo, feel proud of choices I was ALLOWED to make, decided to make change."
