A brief history of Katie Price’s rollercoaster love life – and the one’s that got away

KATIE Price has never been short of column inches thanks to her rollercoaster love life with a series of eligible bachelors.

Here’s a brief history of the UK superstar’s complicated love life, and what happened between them.

Husbands

Peter Andre (2004-2009)

The nation was gripped by Katie and Peter after they met and fell in love in the I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here jungle in 2004.

Once they left the show, they continued to date and were eventually married in a lavish ceremony in 2005.

The pair went on to start a reality TV show dynasty, and looked set to last as they had two children, Princess and Junior, together.

However, the pair divorced in 2009 after a series of irreconcilable spats.

Alex Reid (2009-2011)

Alex met Katie the same year she split from Peter, and after a whirlwind romance the pair got married five months later in 2009.

After eloping to Las Vegas, the couple renewed their vows in the UK as part of their new reality TV show.

However, cracks in the relationship with the cage fighter soon began to show, and after eighteen months they split up.

Their marriage officially ended in 2011.

It's clear that there's no love lost between the two, with both parties using their platforms to slate the other in the public eye.

Kieran Hayler (2013-2017)

Kieran Hayler was introduced to Katie by a mutual friend during a night out in 2012 – and by January 2013, the pair had flown to Barbados to get hitched.

They have had two children together – Jett and Bunny – bringing a total of five kids into the Pricey household.

In 2014, it looked like it was over for good when she discovered that Kieran had been having an affair with her best friend, Jane Pouteney.

He later sought counselling for sex addiction and was given another chance by the star, and the pair renewed their vows in the Maldives in 2016.

However, in August 2017 Katie revealed that she was set to divorce Kieran after discovering that he had cheated on her again - this time with their nanny in an affair that lasted more than a year.

Dated

Warren Furman (1996-1998)

At the time, Warren was the more famous of the two in the relationship, having become known as Ace in the Saturday night game show, Gladiators.

The Yorkshireman was so smitten with Katie, back then known as Jordan, that he even proposed to her, but after two years they decided to split up.

Dane Bowers (1998-2000)

The Another Level singer and the model was Katie’s first major, highly-publicised relationship.

Lasting two years, Katie was absolutely smitten with the pop star, but he later dumped her due to his hatred of her glamour modelling career and his growing popularity thanks to duet Out of Your Mind with Victoria Beckham.

He later revealed: “At the time I was quite jealous. She stopped doing all the nudie shoots, the really naughty things. Then she did one just to spite me and I said ‘If you do it I’ll leave you’, and she did it.”

She later admitted: “He was the only guy who completely taught me about having your heart broken.”

The star even confessed at a later date that she even tried to overdose in a bid to win him back.

Dwight Yorke (2000-2001)

Footie ace Dwight and Katie’s romance came to an end after a turbulent 18-months, during which time she fell pregnant.

Dwight is the father to Katie’s first child, Harvey – who suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome, as well as septo-optic dysplasia (which makes him blind) and autism.

He initially refused to accept the paternity of the tot until Katie later confirmed he was the father with a DNA test.

Since then Dwight has all but washed his hands of both Katie and his son, and has very little to do with either of them.

Gareth Gates (2002)

Gareth and Katie enjoyed a series of late night liasons while Katie was pregnant with Harvey – with the star taking the young Pop Idol’s virginity.

The pair spent the night together shortly after he won the talent competition as a teenager – and suffered with a crippling stammer that left him struggling to talk.

He later revealed that the moment encouraged him to stay away from the limelight, and he told new magazine: “It wasn’t the reason I wanted to be a pop star. There are stars out there for the wrong reason. I was to be recognised for my talent.”

Katie also said the regretted the tryst and said “It’s terrible – I was still young, I was pregnant, I didn’t have the dad about and I still wanted to be loved,” she said.

“It was wrong when I look back. It was over in seconds!”

Danny Cipriani (2011)

Rugby star Danny Cipriani is no stranger to attracting famous ladies, and he enjoyed a brief romance with Katie in 2011.

However, it swiftly ended when she reportedly found him in bed with someone else, and later publicly nicknamed him “Danny Chipolata” as a dig at his manhood.

He later revealed to The Sun: “She was cool, but it wasn’t anything major, and then it was written about in her books later on."

“I have no ill feeling towards that and it’s just how it is. At the time, it was frustrating.”

Leandro Penna (2011-2012)

South American model Leandro Penna and Katie Price’s relationship only lasted eighteen months, but for him it seems that was long enough.

Kate and Leo even got engaged in April 2012, but by the October the pair mutually decided to end their relationship and Katie said in a blog post that it had just “run its course”.

However, he later revealed to Caras Magazine in Argentina: “I was thinking it over recently and one day I packed my bags and left.

“There was nothing else I could do. She was driving me insane.”
