What will happen in season five of Ambulance?
In episode one ambulance crew member, Jade, who is called to what is believed at first to be a cardiac arrest involving an elderly woman, is upset and tearful once she’s back in the vehicle after the patient, Shirley, has been taken to hospital accompanied by her devoted husband Gordon.
Jade can’t give the reassurances that Gordon needs, because she fears the outcome will be the worst.
Back at ambulance control young Laura, who had intensely personal reasons for wanting to join the North West Ambulance Service, must deal with an incredibly distressing 999 call that leaves her harrowed and sad.
