Love Island’s ‘fake millionaire’ Jonny Mitchell splashes the cash on Stephanie Pratt on holiday in Croatia after just a week of dating – just like he did with ex Chyna Ellis
MR MONEYBAGS Jonny Mitchell returned to form splashing the cash in his well-rehearsed dating routine with Made in Chelsea’s Stephanie Pratt the lucky lady this time around.
Despite only starting seeing each other this month, the Love Island hunk hasn’t held back in whipping out his cheque book and paying for swish cocktails during their sun-soaked break to Croatia.
Fans of the ITV2 personality, 26, may well be struck with a sense of deja vu after having witnessed Johnny make EXACTLY the same move on ex co-star Chyna Ellis when they left the sun-soaked reality show.
Last month, the brunette business owner – who The Sun was first to reveal is actually a “fake” millionaire who puts on his lavish lifestyle – was busy wooing Chyna yet sensationally ditched her on the reunion programme.
Yet far from being scorned Jonny has moved on with bubbly blonde American Steph.
In his latest Instagram post, he revealed they had jetted off to Croatia for a few days spend soaking up the sun and sipping fizz.
He had a beaming grin on his face as he kicked back on a plush couch with his new lover, who looked sassy in a red baseball cap and matching bikini.
She cozied up alongside two other pals as they spent the afternoon catching rays on their lounge bed, which was perfectly positioned overlooking the tranquil marina.
Johnny captioned his shot with the phrase: “Croatia squad goals,” and an Emoji wine icon, as he tagged in at the Lounge Bar Laganini location.
Jonny and Steph, 31, were pictured looking cosy during a romantic date night in London last week, where they visited upmarket restaurant Roka before enjoying a night cap at a nearby pub.
Meanwhile The Sun Online exclusively revealed Essex lad Jonny‘s been lined up to appear on E4 reality show Made In Chelsea after impressing producers with his posh background, drama-stirring abilities and blossoming romance with Steph.
“Stephanie and Jonny have been getting on together like a dream – now MIC bosses are keen to see whether he could be introduced to the programme,” an insider said.
“Jonny isn’t afraid to stir things up so he would be a great addition to the cast, he is very well to do and is from a good background so is used to high flying and living life to the full.”
Our show source added: “It would be the first time a male Love Island cast member has made it onto a show that isn’t Towie, so it could be really exciting for him.”
The only previous Love Islander to join Made In Chelsea is series two contestant Tina Stinnes.
She first popped up during the show’s seventh series on a date with Spencer Matthews, before making a dramatic return earlier this year.
Meanwhile, a string of Love Island stars have made the move to Towie over the years, including Jon Clark, Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde.
There are also rumours swirling that this year’s Love islanders Chloe Crowhurst, Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay could appear in the new series as well.
Jonny was a controversial figure on the last series of Love Island, who enjoyed flings with Camilla Thurlow and Tyla Carr but ultimately failed to find lasting romance.
Stephanie, meanwhile, has also tried to find love on TV, signing up for Celebs Go Dating on E4 last year.
She briefly dated co-star Joey Essex before things fizzled out.
The former Hills star said earlier this year: “I like someone who’s funny and intelligent, and good at what they do. I find that really attractive.
“Growing up I always dated hockey players and I still love athletes.
“I don’t like models or unemployed people.
“I’d rather date someone who just has a normal, manly job.”
