When she bonded with Tony the Pony on Celebrity Big Brother
Gemma proved that she was an animal lover when she found herself bonding with Tony the Pony while on Celebrity Big Brother in early 2016.
Feeling an immediate bond, the star took the miniature Shetland for a walk (and then a jog) around the garden - while still managing to look like a true diva in a pair of sunglasses and strappy gold heels.
The star - who has admitted to not being much of an exercise fan - dubbed Tony her "perfect fitness accessory" as she went for her run around the Elstree garden.
When she sacrificed the house's hot water and electric in exchange for a blowdry
The Essex girl burst into tears when she was rewarded on CBB with something she was desperate for - a professional blow dry to fix her hair.
However, her reward came at a cost and she was told if she took it, the whole house would pay the penalty and not get hot water or appliances for the day.
After thinking about it, Gemma accepted the offer anyway (after making sure they could all still have cups of tea) - leaving her housemates fuming.
She later defended herself on Loose Women and said that "everyone has bad hair days".
When she put Arg in his place on Towie
Gemma Collins is happily large and in charge - and wasn't going to have anyone talking smack about her, especially not James Argent.
After discovering that he had been telling people that he fancied her but didn't want to date her as she was too big for him, Gemma got him back in spectacular style.
Confronting him in the middle of a pool party, Gemma declared he could “kiss her a***”, before she whipped off a sarong and declared: “Take a look at this — because you ain’t ever gonna get this candy."
She then left him stunned as she added: “I am f***ing sexy, James. You think I’m pretty but I’m too fat to go out with you. I might not be a size ten but I’ve got a good heart.”
When she went on Sky News in defence of Essex women everywhere
Gemma cemented her reputation as the queen of Essex when she appeared on Sky News to defend all the ladies of the area.
After the dictionary added the definition of Essex Girl as a derogatory term meaning "unintelligent and materialistic", she appeared on the 24 news channel to demand compensation.
"We are smart, we are sassy and you know it is absolutely outrageous in today’s society, that the dictionary, which, I’m a massive fan of the dictionary, we should be like promoting the dictionary anyway because it is like a massive, historical British thing.
"But for them to write that about us Essex girls, we are not happy. Keep us in the dictionary but please change the meaning.
"I think it should say an Essex girl is smart, sassy, fun, striving hard in life like everyone else."
When she earned her divaship at 34 on Towie
While they were both in Towie, Ferne and Gemma clashed more than once - but this moment was truly epic.
After branding Ferne a "c***" on a night out, Gemma went round to Ferne's house to see what the issue was.
As the pair went to war over an alleged war of words (which apparently included Ferne telling Gemma she should get a gastric band), Gemma slammed Ferne and her "diva" behaviour after one night out.
"And you've never been a diva in your life before?" Ferne sarcastically asked.
"I can, I'm Gemma Collins, Ferne" she declared. "I'm 34, I've earned my divaship - and I'm not going to be spoken to like a bit of dirt by you."
When she bruised her boobs on Splash

When the star signed up for the short-lived show Splash, Gemma admitted the main thing she wanted to overcome was her fear of water.
Making it to the dive, Gemma dived in a deep purple swimsuit and kaftan, Gemma performed a flawless dive, but missed out of the semi-finals after being voted off in favour of Michaela Strachan.
She revealed to host Gabby Logan that she had BADLY bruised her boobs while in training, leaving her chest looking as sore and purple as her swimsuit, but she pushed through and did the jump anyway.
What a trooper.
