Prince’s famous vault containing live recordings, concert footage and enough music to fill a new album every year for a CENTURY to be released
PRINCE’S famous vault is believed to contain enough music to fill a new album every year for the next century – yet since his death last year it seemed it would remain locked away.
But in exciting news his millions of fans around the world have been waiting for, I can reveal the incredible archive will now be released.
Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson, his only living full blood relative, said it was her late brother’s wish for the public to hear the songs.
And she will stop at nothing before they are out.
In an exclusive interview, Tyka, said: “It was always Prince’s plan to release those songs.
“I want what Prince wants. We have to preserve everything.
“So as soon as we can release it, don’t worry — we sure will.”
As well as numerous demos and new versions of existing tracks by Prince the vault at his Paisley Park studios is believed to contain hundreds of hours of live recordings and concert footage.
A deal worth £29million with Universal Music Group was announced in February which involved the release of music from the vault.
But the singer’s estate pulled out of discussions in June after failing to agree on what would be released.
Tyka insisted there would be more than just new music, though, ahead of the My Name Is Prince exhibition at The O2 in London from October 27 (which fans can buy tickets for from 9am this Friday).
She explained: “If he wants his music released then it will be released. If he wants a museum, then that’s what we are doing now. Prince also wanted a school. I plan to make it a reality.
“He wanted a music school in north Minneapolis for underprivileged kids who wanted to play music.
“He started the design before he passed and he told me his mission was the school.”
I have no doubt his legacy will live on for many years to come.

Talyor clip snakes the internet
TAYLOR SWIFT set the internet buzzing yesterday, teasing her comeback with a silent ten-second clip of what looked to be a slithering snake on her social media accounts.
It sent fans into overdrive about what it meant.
Some suggested it was linked to being branded a snake when she fought with KIM KARDASHIAN and KANYE WEST last year over his tune Famous.
The Shake It Off singer had deleted all of the content from her social media channels on Friday, even removing her profile pictures as she prepared for her comeback.
She is poised to make her return this week, with her first solo music since her 2014 album 1989 expected imminently.
Taylor has kept a low profile for the past year, during which time she has started dating Brit actor JOE ALWYN as I revealed.
If nothing else, that should provide plenty of content for her new album.
Biz bit
SARAH HARDING continued to shock on Celebrity Big Brother yesterday. She had a big row with new boyfriend CHAD JOHNSON, ranting: “Don’t f***ing take the f***ing p***.” I’m genuinely concerned for Sarah.
Jay-Z and Solange 'all cool'
HE’s kept his lips sealed for three years but JAY Z has finally addressed his bust-up with SOLANGE KNOWLES at the Met Gala.
The hip-hop star insists they’ve patched things up since the incident in New York, when his sister-in-law, bottom, punched him in a lift while wife BEYONCE watched.
He revealed: “We had one disagreement ever. Before and after we’ve been cool.
“It was one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to deal with. She’s like my sister. I will protect her. That’s my sister. Not my sister-in-law.”
But Jay, who on Sunday wrapped up V Festival in Essex with RIHANNA present, ducked claims of infidelity despite his new album 4:44, Beyonce’s Lemonade and Solange’s A Seat At The Table all dealing with his alleged cheating.
He continued: “You have to deal with your family and then you have got to deal with yourself . . . self correction. And it is hard.”
Perhaps we’ll get the truth in another three years.

No Payne, no gain
STRIP That Down singer LIAM PAYNE took to Instagram to share his hanging knee tucks.
If I could do that, I’d be showing off online too.
Cam's glam...girls a sham
IT’S been nearly nine months since she quit girl group FIFTH HARMONY, but CAMILA CABELLO is doing better than ever.
She performed at the Billboard Hot 100 Festival in New York on Sunday days after her former bandmates refused to answer questions about her on my Bizarre Life podcast.
They threw their toys out of the pram in the most cringeworthy interview I’ve ever done – the whole thing is available to listen to now.
Camila will be in the UK to perform at Radio 1’s Teen Awards at Wembley’s SSE Arena on October 22, alongside LIAM PAYNE, RITA ORA, THE VAMPS and DUA LIPA.
She will be in good company there.
