TONIGHT'S edition of The One Show is dedicated to the life of the recently deceased telly legend Sir Bruce Forsyth.

The BBC programme will produce a fitting tribute to the former Strictly host, whose death at 89 rocked the country on August 18. Here's the low-down on tonight's show...

What time is The One Show on?

You can tune in to BBC One at 7pm on weeknights to watch the show.

Today’s episode will last one hour, and will be followed by EastEnders at 8pm.

Each night the One Show presenters mix interviews with an array of celebrity guests with an eclectic mix of topics ranging from current affairs to pop culture.

But tonight the show is being dedicated to remembering the life and career of Sir Bruce Forsyth.

It is then available on demand on the BBC iPlayer.

Colleagues and friends of the late Sir Bruce Forsyth are coming together for this special edition of the show.

Along with archive footage, their memories and anecdotes will form a tribute to Brucie, famous for his catchphrase: ";Nice to see you, to see you, nice."

Play Your Cards Right host Sir Bruce is best-known now for his work hosting Strictly until his retirement in 2014.

But considering the dad-of-six made his TV debut in 1939 there's a lot for The One Show to cover this evening.

Numerous celebs, including Tess Daly and Des O'Connor, have already paid tribute to the presenting god.

Who is presenting The One Show tonight?

Show regulars Matt Baker and Alex Jones will front tonight's episode of The One Show.

Matt made his name on Blue Peter before fronting Countryfile and The One Show, while Alex started out as a TV researcher before bagging the prestigious BBC gig.
