Rihanna secretly attends V Festival but sneaks backstage to watch Jay Z
The 29-year-old singer went unnoticed amongst fans as she supported her good friend at the Essex festival
RIHANNA managed to attend V Festival in total secrecy on Sunday evening.
The pop superstar only gave herself away as she shared a series of videos on Instagram Stories showing her backstage as Jay Z closed the festival in Chelmsford, Essex.

Jay Z and Rihanna, 29, have been friends for many years and have even collaborated together in the past – so it’s no surprise Riri made a detour to Essex to support him.
Clearly excited she shared a clip of Jay jumping around on stage as she sang along to his songs.
Seeing her posting online, fans took to Twitter to comment on how gutted they were not to actually see her.
One person wrote: “Rihanna was at V fest and I was at V fest just not in the same place😭😭.”
A second commented: “FML @rihanna filming Jay Z from the stage a V Festival. If she's comes out I'm gonna be even more gutted I didn't go 😣”
And a third wrote: “Rihanna is at V festival watching Jay-Z and I'm livid I'm not there”.

While she went unnoticed at the festival, she was spotted in London the night before as she snuck out of Chiltern Firehouse following a date night with her billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel.
Rihanna and Hassan managed their romance a secret for almost for six months before they were snapped enjoying a steamy kissing session in Spain.
