LIAM Payne sent his fans into meltdown after showing off his incredible physique.

The singer uploaded a short clip of his workout routine and gave loyal followers a glimpse inside his private gym.

The former One Direction singer, 23, displays impressive strength as he performs pull-ups.

Taking his gruelling fitness routine very seriously, Liam fails to lift a smile as he flexes his muscles.

Liam also failed to lift his shorts, giving adoring fans a glimpse of his underwear.

The short clip worked its magic with one fan claiming: "My wig flew off in 12 different languages."

Acknowledging the fact that Liam's now a father, one fan commented: "OK Dad stop" and another told Liam: "Yeah Daddy, stay on that grind."

Keeping to the theme, another lovestruck fanatic described Liam as a "handsome daddy."

Though one fan questioned his intentions, writing: "I really like you, but why are you posting this?"

Liam set the internet abuzz last month after hinting that he and Cheryl had secretly got married.

The One Director singer, who welcomed a son called Bear with Cheryl in March, referred to Cheryl as his ";wife" in an interview for a French website.

In the chat on site On The Move, Liam describes himself as a "composer" and calls Cheryl his "wife" on numerous occasions.

After reflecting on his life as a new dad and a burgeoning solo pop sensation, Liam then appears to confirm he and Cheryl - who have been very private about their romance and arrival of their child - are now locked in holy matrimony.

The word "wife" came up as Liam mentioned Pharrell Williams' wife Helen Lasichanh - suggesting the choice of word was deliberate on Liam's part, rather than a mistranslation.

He says: "To be honest with you I don't know yet what it is like to write while being a father, I have not passed through this experience.

"I have something that I'm preparing with Timbaland and I was writing with Pharrell when his wife was pregnant along with my wife for that matter.

"They had triplets and it's amazing."
