Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Georgia Kousoulou have awkward run in at V Festival after falling out over parody video
Pair came face to face in V Festival’s VIP but went out of their way to pretend they didn’t see each other
LEIGH-ANNE Pinnock and Georgia Kousoulou had an awkward run in at V Festival today.
The pair came face to face in the VIP area after Georgia lashed out at the Little Mix star for mocking her Everything Five Pounds video.
An insider, who spotted the pair partying just metres away from each other, said the atmosphere turned frosty as soon as Georgia spied Leigh-Anne.
They explained: “Both Leigh-Anne and Georgia were there with their mates and seemed to be having a great time.
“But when Georgia clocked Leigh-Anne, she couldn’t hide her irritation and looked seriously miffed to see her.
“It’s not clear if Leigh-Anne noticed Georgia was there but it was a really frosty atmosphere.
“Georgia stuck to one end of the VIP bar while Leigh-Anne and her mates stayed at the other.”
Georgia tweeted after watching it: “I’m shocked and upset to see you have used your social media to made a video mocking the advert I did.
“I’m honestly shocked to see this…
“I have always been a fan of Little Mix and part of that is because you always talk about ‘empowering women’ not mocking them & bringing them down.
“You are the last group of girls I would have ever imagined mocking a girl for trying to make a living.”
Georgia’s fans quickly rallied around her and tweeted their messages of support.
One wrote: “Shocking that @littlemix and their management think it's OK to ridicule Georgia in this way, and not take this nasty video down.”
Another tweeted: “Call yourself role models and you like to empower women? Shocking behaviour! Hypocrites!
“And all you fans who are condoning this are just as bad! If it was the other way round and Georgia was ridiculing them, you wouldn't think it was a joke or a parody then.”
However some of Little Mix’s followers defended Leigh-Anne’s parody and accused Georgia of over-reacting.
One fan told her: “TF is wrong with people on social media, everyone too sensitive, what people can't take the p**s out of people just as banter.
“There was no bullying involved just pure banter.”
