Mel B’s ex-nanny’s mother accuses Spice Girl of putting her daughter’s ‘life in danger’ and ‘smeared her name’ in bitter divorce battle
MEL B's ex-nanny's mother has today accused her of putting her daughter's "life in danger" and "smearing her name" in bitter divorce battle with Stephen Belafonte.
Lorraine Gilles' mum has voiced her "concerns" for her daughter's well being following explosive claims made by the Spice Girl.
When Mel began divorce proceedings back in April she alleged the nanny had a fling with Belafonte, fell pregnant by him and had an abortion.
Following these claims, court papers then filed by Lorraine claimed Mel had actually invited her for threesomes with her and hubby Stephen.
The documents claimed they had a seven-year affair after the singer seduced her as a “naive and curious” 18-year-old.
Now her mum Angelika Gilles has hit out at Mel, saying Lorraine's life has been threatened following her allegations.
Speaking to The Mirror: “My daughter has received so many threats and hate mail that I can’t sleep at night.
“I am afraid that something is going to happen to her. It would not be the first time that haters commit something horrible.
“Lorraine does not have the privilege to live in a villa with security or a bodyguard like Mel B.
“She is a simple girl who is trying to live a normal life in Los Angeles.”
German housewife Angelika, is also worried about her safety and that of her husband Volker.
She said: “Even in Germany our life has changed.
“People are constantly lurking around our house and ask strange questions about our daughter."

Angelika also claims Mel turned her daughter from an "innocent teenage language student" into a "promiscuous young woman taking part in sordid threesomes that were filmed".
Mel’s lawyer told The Mirror she is entitled to make “colourful” allegations about the nanny as part of her divorce battle against Belafonte, who is accused of years of domestic violence against the star.
Lorraine is now suing Mel for libel over the accusation that she made about her and Belafonte.
