This Morning’s Rylan Clark-Neal apologises as technical blunder sees the wrong clip play live on air
The ITV show also saw Alison Hammond get her celebrity names mixed up in another glitch
RYLAN Clark-Neal had to apologise on today's This Morning after a technical glitch saw the wrong clip play.
The presenter was presenting the show alongside Sarah Greene when the mishap occurred, which saw footage of Lesley Joseph rehearsing her new show appear on screen instead of this week's competition featuring Denise Van Outen.
After a few seconds, the clip ended and a confused Rylan appeared back on screen, asking: "What is this?"
Realising the camera was back, he continued: "Erm... I'm not 100 per cent sure what we just popped up there but let's put the right competition link up, here you go."
The right clip then played before returning to the studio once again, where Rylan apologised again.
He said: "We do apologise for that, it did catch me a little bit unawares there."
Sitting next to him on the sofa, Sarah asked: "Yes what happened there?"
Rylan joked: "I think Lesley Joseph is in the gallery and she went 'quick, promo my new show!'
"She's very demanding is that Lesley".
It wasn't the only mistake on the show though, as Alison Hammond accidentally said Coleen Nolan was pregnant instead of Coleen Rooney.

After the WAG took to Twitter earlier today to reveal she is pregnant with her fourth child by husband Wayne Rooney, Rylan asked Alison what she had coming up in her showbiz segment.
Excited, Alison said: "So I've got some news about Coleen...Nolan."
Automatically realising her mistake, she quickly said: "No it's not her."
As Rylan and Sarah laughed, Sarah asked: "Have you just said something you weren't supposed to?"
Giggling, Alison said: "It's a different person, I've got some news on Coleen Rooney.
Rylan added as they continued to laugh: "Not Nolan, and this is Lesley Garrett Alison.
"Sarah just cut to the competition, quick!"
