Anna Faris thanks fans for ‘all the love’ as she breaks silence following split from Chris Pratt
ANNA Faris has spoken out for the first time since announcing her split from Chris Pratt.
The actress has thanked fans for their support during the turbulent time.
Anna, 40, gave the short statement during the latest episode of her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified.
The Scary Movie actress told fans: "Hey, dear listeners, I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I've been receiving, and I truly love you."
It was the first episode of her podcast since the former-lovers announced their split last week.
The Hollywood pair met while filming 2007 movie Take Me Home Tonight and they became engaged the following year. They welcomed their son Jack in August 2012.
Chris and Anna announced their separation with a statement that read: “We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed."
Meanwhile Jennifer Lawrence responded to speculation that she and Chris got too close on the set of blockbuster Passengers by gushing about her "brilliant" boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky, in a magazine interview.
Anna and Chris could be heading for a messy divorce considering that as of 2017, Chris is estimated to be worth £23m, while Anna is worth about £15m.
Anna struggled to raise a smile as she was pictured for the first time since the split was made public.
She was spotted looking stony faced as she headed out for the day in her car.
Anna's outing came less than 24 hours after Chris made his first public appearance.
The 38-year-old actor was all smiles as he attended the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday to accept the Choice Sci-Fi Movie Actor surfboard.
Despite recent reports that the couple are still living together for the sake of their son Jack, it seems the pair have split for good as Chris was seen without his silver wedding band at the bash.
While he didn't acknowledge the recent breakdown of his marriage in his acceptance speech, he thanked Jesus and his fans for supporting him.
He said: “Wow, thank you, I love you too. What a privilege to be here at the Teen Choice Awards.
“I would not be here with the ease and grace I have in my heart without my lord and saviour, Jesus Christ.”
