Celebrity Big Brother’s Paul Danan in secret bid to cut American housemates Chad Johnson and Brandi Glanville from the running to win
CELEBRITY Big Brother’s Paul Danan has been making a secret bid to cut American housemates out of the running to win.
Evicted star Karthik Nagesan, 35, has revealed the former Hollyoaks actor, 38, has been trying to turn British contestants against their rivals from across the pond.
He told the Sun’s Bizarre column Paul revealed to him and Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, 25, he did not want The Bachelorette’s Chad Johnson, 30, and Real Housemates of Beverly Hills’s Brandi Glanville, 44, to win.
Karthik said: “He has told me he doesn’t want the Americans to win. He’s told me and Sam.
“I don’t agree with that. That’s a divide and lose policy. And it has broken countries up before.
“We’re one big family and we want good housemates. I believe this is wrong. We are one happy family, one big global village.”
The Apprentice star Karthik and Paul had their fair share of rows in the house with Karthik accusing him of racism.
A subsequent argument sparked complaints from viewers made to Ofcom but the pair eventually made up.

He added: “I don’t think Paul is a bad guy, but I think he is playing the game as he feels it should be played.”
Karthik defended Paul when he came out of the house on Friday, saying he is not racist but he did feel “mocked and ridiculed”.
He had said: “In hindsight no [he wasn’t racist], I probably let my emotions get the better of me as well.
“On my first day I wore a T-shirt that said ‘The Big K’, and I believe I have a nice sounding ethnic name, it’s Karthik, but for some people it is difficult.
“But in spite of that I felt mocked and ridiculed.
“And then there was a task I had to get him drinks, so his attitude for repeatedly saying my name the wrong way, plus the way he ordered me around felt bad, so that’s the way I responded the way I did.”
