Ex On The Beach’s Sam Reece says he ‘doesn’t give a f***’ about ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis despite her being assaulted by Jeremy McConnell

EX On The Beach's Sam Reece says he "doesn't give a f***" about ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis even after she was assaulted by Jeremy McConnell.

Jeremy was found guilty of battering Steph last week and The Sun Online revealed Steph had tragically suffered a miscarriage because of the stressful ordeal.

Sam was dating former Hollyoaks actress Steph before she entered Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016 and hooked up with Irish model Jeremy while in the house.

Steph and Jez have had an explosive on-off relationship since then - which culminated in the recent assault case - and the couple have a son Caben-Albi together.

When asked if he sympathised with Steph given her recent troubles, he told The Sun Online: "Not a chance, not a chance.

"I would never reach out to her. I don't give a f*** about her. I've just got nothing to say about her".

Sam also denied he's "bitter" about Steph dumping him for Jez on CBB.

The Mancunian will make his debut on MTV's Ex On The Beach tonight and insists it wouldn't have kicked off between him and Jez if he'd also entered the villa.

Jeremy had signed up to appear on the reality show but was axed from the line-up in March after he was accused of assaulting Steph.

It could have meant a showdown between Steph's ex-boyfriends but Sam says he wouldn't have clashed with the heavily inked reality star.

Meanwhile, Steph has been putting the trial behind her and enjoyed a day at the zoo with baby Caben on Sunday.

The end of the trial saw Jeremy receive a suspended sentence, meaning he was able to return home to family and friends.

He was handed 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, will also have to attend a Building Better Relationships course, and carry out 200 hours community service.

A three-year restraining order was also passed by the court banning the 27-year-old from contacting Steph or even entering the road she lives on.

After saying she feels like she is "drowning" and is on anti-depressants during her testimony in court, Steph was devastated not to see Jeremy locked up.

During the trial, a string of explosive claims came to light - including how McConnell believed Steph was having a lesbian affair with one of her friends and a separate tryst with a fireman.

Steph had wept as she told the court what happened, and also revealed McConnell had believed she had been using a sex toy with other girls.

Alternating between crying and shouting as she gave her testimony, Davis claimed the father of her child had attacked her after a night out and put her in a headlock.

He then grabbed her by the throat and threw her about "like a rag doll" as she held their eight-month-old baby in her arms, Steph told the court.

James Morris, representing McConnell, said drug use and infidelity “rose their ugly head", and that the TV star's "demons" need to be addressed.

He added: "Mr McConnell had a difficult upbringing in Dublin, he lost his mother at 13 and also in the same year his brother and sister.”

McConnell had insisted he was defending himself against Steph, who he said attacked him after learning he had taken cocaine.

But the court was told today he sought treatment for his drug use at Smearmore Castle Private Clinic and is now clean from cocaine.

He claimed injuries shown in photos were "self-inflicted" and that Steph was just angry he had ended their relationship six weeks ago.

As well as the suspended sentence, restraining order and community service, the court ruled Jeremy will have to pay £1000 in court costs and £1000 to Steph in compensation.
