Made in Chelsea boffin Richard Dinan is giving Binky Felstead’s baby India a copy of his new science book as he reveals she’ll be a ‘wonderful’ mum
The science-mad star exclusively told The Sun Online how his stint on the E4 reality show had been a double-edged sword for his career.
MADE in Chelsea brainbox Richard Dinan is set to make Binky Felstead's baby a childhood boffin after revealing he will treat two-month-old India to a copy of his chunky science book as her first present.
Yet the businessman, who used to date former co-star Kimberley Garner before wowing Georgia Toffolo with his intellect, revealed exclusively to The Sun Online his reality TV stint has "handicapped" his science career.
Last week, posh totty Richard released his layman's guide to nuclear fusion, The Fusion Guide, which he has been working on since quitting the E4 show.
Yet despite getting theoretical and indulging in his passion to drum up funding for nuclear reactors, he hasn't completely abandoned his MIC roots.
Richard exclusively confessed: "I keep in touch with Ollie Locke and Kimberly Garner (his ex) and Binky as well, we are still friendly.
"I haven't seen her baby yet. I will be giving them a copy of The Fusion Age as a first Baby Shower present.
"I think she will be a wonderful mum."
Explaining he couldn't have juggled running his companies with MIC's strict filming demands he told us the show - which follows the life of wealthy twenty-somethings living in posh west London - had been "a real asset - but it has been controversial."
He said: "Sometimes, that can be a good thing.
"But its handicapped me in a way that people are so keen to tear me down - I've had to do my research doubly hard."

He continued: "I've met people who would love to say 'oh, you don't know what you're talking about you silly reality star' whereas a lot of PHD students don't do the research because they live off their reputation.
"I will read everything twice."
Richard - who chose to set up his successful businesses over going to university - exclusively told us he enlisted the help of top physicists to give him the full lowdown on nuclear fusion.
He said: "To be an ex MIC character to go and talk about nuclear physics on the radio you need a bit of nerve.
"I really have the passion.
"Some of the physicist have learnt when they realise I really do love this, I really am devoted to this, they have stopped giving me the prejudice and been very supportive."
The floppy-haired blonde added although producers had kindly left the door open, he had no real motive to do any more.
Pouring cold water on the hopes of a Dinan comeback, he bluntly said: "It's a huge a huge commitment, so you have to absolutely forget whatever you're doing.
"You can't run a company or have a life really.
"I have no real motive to do any more, because it served its purpose for me."
Instead, it's all systems go since the release of The Fusion Age.
He believes the chunky white hardback bridges a gap between confusing scientist terminology and the more straightforward facts and figures needed by potential private funders who may be interested in the principle of nuclear fusion, just not understand the theoretical language.
Richard claims the only restriction for the renewable energy form is the amount of money that can be raised to fund the creation of the plants.
Showing how serious he is for the cause, he is preparing to ditch west London living and locate to Oxford to set up a nuclear energy plant, and will now be spurred from the "massive reaction" to his first book.
He added: "Some people have opened the first few pages and stuck with it and come running up with questions and some people have said 'you know what, it's not for me.'
"Someone needed to sit down and write the non-scientist practical guide."
