Celebrity Big Brother’s Sarah Harding and Chad Johnson have a heart-to-heart after steamy snogging session as she admits she feels ‘terrible’ for cheating on her boyfriend

GUILTY Sarah Harding has admitted she feels "terrible" about snogging Chad Johnson on last night's Celebrity Big Brother during a heart-to-heart with the hunky American.

The Girls Aloud singer had a steamy makeout session with Chad in the kitchen, before the pair cuddled up in bed together.

But with Sarah having a boyfriend in the outside world, the 35-year-old was regretting her behaviour in the cold light of day.

As she joined Chad, 29, in the bedroom, Sarah explained they needed to make sure what happened between them didn't occur again.

She said: "We got busted big time. At the end of the day we care about each other, we're like best friends in the house.
 "Right now I really just want to draw a line under it, because people were egging it on."

Lying on his bed, Chad asked what "drawing a line under it" meant, and Sarah said it wouldn't change the fact they were best friends.

She explained: "I just want to see how things are in the outside world. Because one day in here is like a week sometimes."

Chad replied: "That's true it really is, we've known each other six months in regular people time."

As she folded clothes, Sarah added: "It feels like we’ve known each other for a long time.

"I just feel terrible that I let my emotions get the better of me because my emotions are all over the show in here.
"I just don’t want to make a fool out of anybody.

"I just need to draw a line under what happened last night. I don't want us to feel like we have to avoid each other because of it.
"But people gossip and stuff."

Sarah then pointed out that it wasn't so bad for Chad as he was single, whereas she had someone outside of the house.

She said: "I’ve only been dating for four weeks and I just don’t wanna hurt someone."

Nodding in agreement, Chad replied: "That sucks, I feel bad about that."

Sarah continued: "He's a good person, and you're a good person and they don't deserve to be hurt."

Chad interjected: "Yeah I would be upset if I was him."

Continuing to busy herself and barely looking Chad in the eye, Sarah said: "I just need to respect people here and other people on the outside.

"I just need to remember myself, I've got to take responsibility for my actions and I know there's going to be some pretty bad consequences.

"I don't know what my true feelings are about anything any more in here, you're in this bubble, it's making me question everything in here."

Looking intently at her, Chad replied: "I know, we can still be friends, I guess we just carried away, caught in the moment."

Clearly at odds with herself, Sarah finished the conversation by saying: "Oh I don't know what's going to happen, we'll have to wait and see."

In the Diary Room, Chad discussed his conversation with Sarah with Big Brother.

He said: "We’re at this weird phase now where we have to take a step back and figure out what things are and what they aren’t, whether we’re hurting anyone on the outside world.
"You can tell she’s just pulled back for sure. I have to do the same.”

Asked by Big Brother how he feels about that, Chad replied “I mean I’m not happy about it, but I understand it and I respect it.”

Celebrity Big Brother airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 5
