Love Island’s Kady McDermott sparks MORE rumours she’s split with Scott Thomas as she spends his birthday with her dog and a take-away
The reality TV beauty shunned partying for a slap-up pizza and night with her pet after mysteriously claiming the pair were in 'a situation'.
LOVE Island beauty Kady McDermott continued to spark suggestions she has split with Scott Thomas by shunning her man's birthday - for a night in with a take-away and her dog.
The reality TV star uploaded a Twitter picture showing a half-eaten Domino's pizza and her adorable fluffy pooch perching by the box on the Friday the hunky club promoter turned 28.
Earlier in the day, the pretty brunette was forced to respond to fans who noticed she hadn't publicly wished him happy birthday on social media.
Eager to set the record straight, the 21-year-old took to her own account to insist she had sent Scott many happy returns in person - adding the telling words "despite their situation."
Late on Friday night, she shared scenes from her night in with the words: "My Friday night," alongside cheeky monkey, dog and a love heart Emojis.
The snap of the tasty treat reignited rumours the pair had called it a day - especially after they unfollowed each other on social media - with one concerned fan quizzing: "But it's Scott's birthday, why aren't you with him?"
Another put: "It's unfortunate that their relationship is in the public eye.... if Kady and Scott have split then I am absolutely gutted for them both," while one supportively added: "Sometimes all you need is pizza to make everything feel better even if it is only for 5 minutes hope your ok?"
One stuck up for the star's decision not to publicly address their current relationship status and commented: "Leave her alone, nobody knows the truth or story blah. Maybe shes just having her time its nobodys business, but her & Scott's."
Earlier in the day Kady, 21, appeared to confirm she has split from Scott after insisting she did wish him Happy Birthday - just not online.
Posting a video on Snapchat about the birthday message situation, she ranted: "Regardless of my situation with Scott, I did wish him a happy birthday.

"Just because I haven't tweeted it or put in on Instagram, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Remember guys, things do happen in real life not just social media.
"I have definitely said happy birthday to him, so you can all sleep at night. Ok guys? Rant over."
Earlier in the day fans had noticed that Kady had been very active online after her appearance on BBC Breakfast this morning but chose not to mention Scott’s birthday.
Scott meanwhile spent the day re-tweeting birthday messages from others, including Mike Thalassitis from this year’s Love Island, Rykard from last year’s show and also numerous fans – making Kady’s lack of message even more apparent.
Even Kady’s sister Kirsty wished him Happy Birthday, which again he retweeted - leavings fan confused about the state of their relationship.
Kady cleared up the situation in the video, adding that she had even got him gifts as well as cake for him and his twin brother.
She said: "I got two cakes made, one for Adam [Scott's twin] and one for Scott as you guys are all so concerned. Also got him some Yeezys, a card and a memory box and something else, so you can all relax now."
The star went on to ask for some privacy, while not mentioning her relationship with Scott.
"I love the fact that you guys care, whether you care or you guys are nosy, whatever it is, I understand that being in this industry the downfall is that you don't have any private life," she said.
"But if I'm not Snapchatting or Instagramming please respect that I might want something to be private. I just feel like I have to explain myself about everything and I'm just not in the mood at the moment, so please respect that."
It comes after it was revealed the couple have unfollowed each other on social media and Kady posted a cryptic message hinting at a split.
The 21-year-old wrote: "New chapter" on Twitter and fans were quick to comment asking if everything was OK in her relationship.
One wrote: "As long as you and Scott are together I'm fine", while another added: "Surely they've not split. They were still doing things together like 2 days ago from what I can see."
The potential split comes just weeks after Kady offered up relationship advice to the new batch of Love Island couples - including winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies.
She told The Sun's Bizarre column: "When we first came out, especially the first three months, we were living out of suitcases.
"We were doing PAs, travelling and obviously we were on our phones the whole time.
“It’s important just to make sure you do have an hour to yourselves, with your phone turned off.
"When we were on dates, if we went to Nando’s, we’d turn our phones off.
“Because if not we’d just forget to communicate and that’s what happened at first.”
