AARON Sidwell is an EastEnders actor, known for his role as Steven Beale - but he won't be on it much longer.
The heartthrob is set for a dramatic exit from the soap after playing the deranged Steven for a year. Here's the low-down on him....
Who is Aaron Sidwell, how old is he and what is his background?
Aaron Sidwell is a 28-year-old actor and singer from Maidstone in Kent, best-known for his role as Steven Beale in EastEnders.
Having started his career as a singer in the All Saints Choir, he formed a band called The Boston Plan as well as appearing in stage shows.
His big break came in 2016 when he was offered the role of Steven in EastEnders.
He agreed and took over the role from previous actor Edward Savage.
But apart from that he's also played Johnny in the Green Day musical American Idiot, opposite Celebrity Big Brother's Amelia Lily, and also played Michael Dork in Son Of Dork musical Loserville.
In addition he's appeared in Ghost The Musical and a stage version of Grease 2.
He will now be leaving EastEnders to join the touring cast of Wicked, playing Fiyero.
What will happen to Steven Beale?
After lying to his girlfriend - and now fiancee - Lauren Branning that he has a brain tumour, to try and stop her affair at work, Steven's deception will finally get to him.
The scheming coward has also been having an affair with Lauren's sister Abi, and is embroiled in the revenge plot of Lauren's dad Max.
Now EastEnders bosses have confirmed Steven's dramatic exit storyline will culminate in September, and viewers should expect it to be "messy".
