Celebrity Big Brother spoiler: Sarah Harding recalls how Cheryl and Girls Aloud dreaded her backstage meltdowns during ‘tough’ rehearsals
CELEBRITY Big Brother's Sarah Harding has admitted to suffering "mini-meltdowns" while rehearsing for Girls Aloud tours, leaving the other band members dreading her next outburst.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal that Sarah has spoken candidly to Chad Johnson about the difficulties she endured in tour rehearsals as she wasn't as dance trained as other members of the group.
Sarah told Chad she had a tattoo inked on her forearm during one set of tour rehearsals as a reminder that she needed to stay strong.
"I got it when we were half-way through our tour rehearsals, because I’m not the strongest of the dancers," she said.
"I wasn’t as dance trained as three of the other girls. Two of us were more singers than dancers so I used to do extra time with my routines.
"Tour rehearsals for me were so tough.
"I used to have a mini meltdown at some point during every four weeks.
"Everyone would be dreading, like ‘Oh god here we come, Sarah’s going to have a little meltdown when she can’t pick up the routine’."
It's not the first time Sarah, 32, has opened up about Girls Aloud in the CBB house.
In a conversation with Derek Acorah earlier this week, Sarah admitted she hadn't seen some of her old band mates for a long time.
She didn't use names but did claim there was one former band member in particular that she 'hasn't seen or heard from' in a long time.
Sarah said: "It’s so hard to catch up with any of them, really. Everyone has got their own thing going on.
"Three of them have got families now...
"I haven’t seen or heard from one of them for forever.
"I don’t know where she’s gone."
Sarah did then say she recently FaceTimed with Nadine Coyle, ruling her out as the Girls Aloud star she has no contact with.
The three band members with families are Cheryl, who is mum to four-month-old Bear, Kimberley Walsh, who has sons Bobby and Cole, and Nadine, who is mum to daughter Anaiya.
Last week Sarah hinted at a fall out with Cheryl during an intimate chat with Jemma Lucy, when discussing how she always felt like a "giant" next to her petite bandmates, and admitted they didn't talk much anymore.
"I looked like a giant next to Cheryl. She's like a Polly Pocket. She's very petite," Sarah said.
"I haven't spoken to her in a while."
When Jemma quizzed if Sarah and Cheryl had fallen out, she replied: "Everyone asks that but we're so busy with our own stuff.
"It's not for me to say. Honestly, it's not for me to say. I don't like talking about the other girls if it's a personal thing.
"I mean, we were like sisters, so of course it would never be plain sailing the whole time.
"Being around girls all the time is difficult, you know?
"Nothing lasts forever.
"We went though so much, even if had fallen out, I'm sure it wouldn't be a major deal in the future."
In an exclusive interview with The Sun's Bizarre column before entering the house, Sarah said she was in touch with Nadine but didn't see as much of Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberley these days.
“I FaceTimed Nadine a couple of weeks ago, that was fun," she said.
"It’s difficult to stay in touch with the others as we’re all quite busy.
“We have their numbers, we don’t have to prove it to everyone on social media.
"Those three have always been close.”
Nadine sent her support to Sarah via Twitter last week, tweeting: "SARAH IS IN BB. She is such a gentle sweet soul at heart!!! I am so nervous for her but hoping she has a wonderful time!!"
Kimberley, meanwhile, branded Sarah "really brave" to sign up for the show.
She wrote in her : "I can’t believe Sarah is in the Big Brother house! I’ve managed to watch a couple of episodes and it’s actually really bizarre seeing someone you know so well in there."
"I think she’s really brave to put herself out there like that as it’s a lot of pressure and such an intense environment to be in.
"Sarah can sometimes be easily overwhelmed so I really hope she’s okay in there and enjoys the experience.
"She’s been great on the bits I’ve seen so far."
Meanwhile, Sarah faces eviction on Friday night for the second time in a row.
The pop star was nominated for eviction alongside YouTuber Trisha Paytas, The Bachelorette star Chad and The Apprentice candidate Karthik Nagesan.
All four housemates had also faced the public vote on Tuesday night, which saw Marissa Jade sent home.
