Hollywood star posts moving montage from her 'remarkable' son's childhood which proves just how much he takes after her and dad Michael Douglas.
CATHERINE Zeta-Jones has celebrated her son's 17th birthday by posting a heart-warming video tribute tracking his childhood.
The Welsh actress gave birth to "remarkable young man" Dylan with her husband Michael Douglas in 2000 and the video includes home recordings of Catherine with him as a baby.
Now Catherine, 47, has celebrated her son's energetic childhood in a montage of clips which show how he takes after his charismatic performer parents.
The video uses the Rolling Stones' track Start Me Up as background, and shows keen musician Dylan skateboarding, playing guitar, singing on stage and mucking about with granddad Kirk Douglas, among other things.
Proud Catherine captioned the vid: "Don't 'START ME UP' on how much I love you. Dylan, you are truly a remarkable young man.
"You are the joy of my life. 17 years old today! Happy Birthday sweetheart @dy1and."
Catherine, whose family lives in New York, also has a 14-year-old daughter called Carys whose birthday was in April.
The Swansea native has been married to 72-year-old Michael, 25 years her senior, since 2000 after they were introduced by Danny DeVito two years before.
When they met, Michael was still married to Austrian Diandra Luker, who received £34m in their divorce settlement.
Catherine and Michael have experienced some marital difficulties along the way.
They separated for a year back in 2013 but got back together, "stronger than ever" as Michael put it a year later
Catherine's most recent roles have been in the US TV show feud as outspoken Hollywood gossip monger Olivia DeHavilland, though she is thought to be starring in the upcoming biopic of the composer Vivaldi.
Meanwhile Michael's career has hardly slowed down in his seventies as he's about to appear in Ant-Man follow-up Ant-Man And The Wasp as well as high-octane thriller Unlocked.
