Amir Khan’s estranged wife’s Faryal Makhdoom fury at suspicions he’s romancing model in Dubai – three days after announcing marriage split
AMIR Khan’s wife believes he is romancing a model in Dubai, three days after he publicly ended his marriage.
The Sun can reveal the boxer bought a Chanel handbag for Gulbahor Becknazar before partying with her on Sunday night and posting suggestive videos together on social media.
Furious wife Faryal Makhdoom had already suspected her husband was forming a close bond with the part-time model, actress and beauty adviser before he announced their marriage split on Twitter on Friday.
Olympic medal-winner Amir, 30, accused 26-year-old Faryal of seeking a fling with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua, which both parties have strongly denied.
Now pals say it was to distract from his own behaviour.
A friend of the pair said: “Amir is full of bulls***. He accused Faryal of having something with Anthony as he wanted an excuse to mess about himself.
"He claims to be a devout Muslim, but days after his marriage ending he’s partying all night.
“This is a man who loves womanising, drinking and smoking sheesha pipes. Faryal tried so hard to make the marriage work but it was impossible.”
Friends say Amir was drunk with Gulbahor in a nightclub.
He was seen on Snapchat cuddling up with the Abu Dhabi-based beauty and was heard saying in a video on her Instagram: “We’re here with my girl. Just chilling in Dubai.”
Gulbahor faced a storm of criticism afterwards, but insisted Amir was “a very good friend”.
And she wrote of Faryal: “I never did anything to embarrass her or hurt her.”

Amir and Faryal wed four years ago and have a two-year-old girl.
The former light-welterweight world champ yesterday denied any wrongdoing.
He said: “I just want to apologise for my behaviour yesterday. Faryal drove me and her mother drove me to do this.
“They have taken my daughter away from me and Faryal is threatening for me never to see my daughter again. I only went out because I was so stressed out with the drama. I did nothing wrong.”
He confirmed his divorce was “going through”.
