CHRIS Pratt has ended his marriage with Anna Faris, leading to great speculation about why the Hollywood couple would go their separate ways.
They've been together several years, but what else do we know about the relationship between the Jurassic World star and Scary Movie actress? Here's the low-down...
Why have Chris Pratt and Anna Faris split?
Chris Pratt, 38, and Anna Faris, 40, announced their separation on August 6, 2017 after being married for eight years.
Devout Christian Chris and Anna, who is not religious, have one child - a son Jack, who's four.
Currently neither has offered an explanation as to why they're "legally separating", and have asked for privacy.
Their joint statement on the split said they're both "disappointed" to be splitting, after trying "hard for a long time" to make their marriage work.
They wrote online: "Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.
"We still love each other and will always cherish our time together."
Since the shocking split news emerged, fans have been speculating that Chris' work with Jennifer Lawrence on romantic space-set flick Passengers led to the breakdown of his relationship.
Now it seems Anna's upcoming memoir Unqualified, due out in October, is going to spill the beans on her marriage.
US reports claimed that Anna and Chris were still living together as of August 11, while actress Kristen Bell wisely advised their fans: "You should say, 'Oh, they tried. But that doesn't discount the lovely years they had together.'
"If I ever get divorced, I'm still going to be like, 'Wow, I loved being married to that man.'"
How did Chris and Anna meet?
Chris and Anna met while working together on the set of 80s-set comedy movie Take Me Home Tonight in 2007, four years before the film was released.
At the time, Anna was a much bigger star than Chris, with credits including Brokeback Mountain, four Scary Movie films, Lost In Translation and My Super Ex-Girlfriend under her belt.
In their first movie together, Anna was playing Wendy, the girlfriend of Kyle, played by Chris.
Though the fictional couple don't end up together in the film, love blossomed between the actors.
They got engaged in late 2008 and married in Bali in July 2009.
It was Anna's second marriage after divorcing Ben Indra, her Lovers Lane co-star, in 2007.
In 2012 their son Jack was born, nine weeks premature, and Chris has since said that his son's birth "really defined" his faith in God.
Anna has spoken about Chris' fathering skills, saying: "He's strict, but he's also incredibly fun, incredibly loving.
"It's so amazing to see that moment that Chris comes home from work and Jack is like, 'Daddy!'"
What's happened with Chris and Anna's careers since they married?
That year Jack was born, Chris' career sky-rocketed thanks to his part in war thriller Zero Dark Thirty, and by 2014 he had bagged the lead roles in Guardians Of The Galaxy and Jurassic World.
In 2016 he starred with Jennifer Lawrence in mega-budget movie Passengers, which was panned by critics, and was released to rumours the actors had had an illicit affair.
Next year Chris is set to star in Avengers: Infinity War as well as the Jurassic World sequel.
Anna, meanwhile, has been playing the lead role in US sitcom Mom with Allison Janney since 2013, and has a voice role in The Emoji Movie.
As of 2017, Chris is estimated to be worth £23m, while Anna is worth about £15m.
Anna has previously called Chris "humble", "sexy" and a "great husband", adding: "I feel like, after years of dating people that weren't the best for me, I found somebody who's love I could really accept."
Chris, meanwhile, has spoken of the jealousy that they both feel about filming sex scenes with other people - but said the fact they're both in the industry helps.
He explained last year: “We have an understanding of what we do for a living, and I think that if I was married to somebody who was, like a schoolteacher or a different job, maybe it’d be a little harder for them to comprehend what exactly goes down and the sacrifices you have to make."
