Love Island’s Montana Brown hints at split with Alex Beattie for the first time as she prepares to fly out to work in LA
MONTANA Brown has admitted herself and Alex Beattie are “doing their own thing” as she prepares to fly out to America as part of her new role as a brand ambassador for PrettyLittleThing.
The Sun revealed that the pair split just days after leaving the Love Island villa and the pair attempted to deny the split at the show’s reunion party in an interview branded “awkward” by viewers.
While their fellow islander couples have been busy doing joint interviews on morning TV, flooding social media with loved-up snaps and jetting off to host beach parties together, Montana hinted at her split from Alex as she revealed she would not be working with Alex in the future.
Speaking to The Sun Online at The Ivy Soho Brasserie, Montana admitted: “We are doing our thing at the moment.
She continued: “I don’t know if we will have time or be able to do any joint shoots in the future.”
However the star was full of support for the 22-year-old hunk as she congratulated him on his new six figure deal with an online fashion brand.
She stated: “I’m really proud of him with his new modelling contract. Modelling something important to him and he’s always had a passion for it, it just comes really naturally to him.
“I mean have you seen his pictures, he’s doing great and he looks great in the shots.”
Montana is now preparing to fly out to Los Angeles with PrettyLittleThing for a new project after being announced as the brand’s first UK.
She gushed: “I’m going to LA next week with PLT for something special so watch this space."

She continued: “This is a dream collaboration and I’m really still shocked. I actually do wear PLT all the time so me this is perfect.
“I’m so honoured to be the first UK brand ambassador; I never thought this would happen. I’m just so grateful to the brand for wanting to partner with me.”
