But just like his CBB sweetheart, it looked as though Chad had a partner when he entered the house - not that Sarah was any the wiser. Here's what we know about his ex-beau, Zoe Baron.
Who is Zoe Baron, how old is she and what is her background?
Zoe Baron is a 22-year-old American model and Instagram star.
She hails from Las Vegas and is a gym fanatic who constantly updates fans with pics of her amazing figure.
She began full-time modelling after her social media snaps became popular during her high school studies.
In 2015, she competed in the Miss Nevada USA beauty pageant as Miss Green Valley but lost out to Miss Summerlin, Katherine Kelley.
Describing herself as a "dog whisperer", Zoe absolutely loves mutts, stuffing her Twitter page with cute animal pics and videos.
Meanwhile her Instagram page is full of scantily-clad snaps of her, and she has 83.3k followers.
When did Zoe go out with Chad Johnson?
Zoe started dating US reality TV star Chad Johnson in spring 2017, making their romance official in June.
They got together after Zoe emailed him asking for workout tips.
He had appeared on hit dating programme The Bachelorette in 2016 and angered a lot of viewers with his underhand behaviour.
He also appeared on spin-off show Bachelor In Paradise, on which he rowed with several contestants and soiled his underpants, and as of July 2017 he's gone into the UK Celebrity Big Brother.
On CBB he's not mentioned Zoe at all and has been cracking on with Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding - so either they are now broken up, or he will be going home to a very upset lady.
It appears the relationship is over as Zoe told she and Chad had split over a month before he entered the house.
And commenting on Sarah and Chad's romance she said: "If he is hooking up with Sarah it will be because he genuinely likes her. When you're in that environment, surrounded by cameras, everything is just amplified and things move very quickly."
What has happened between Chad Johnson and Sarah Harding?
Sarah and Chad infuriated viewers when they first kissed, locking lips in the bedroom after an eviction before having another cheeky kiss in the kitchen.
Sarah had revealed before entering the house that she had a boyfriend - though his identity is not known.
Chad told Big Brother: "I like hanging out with Sarah. We flirt. I just want to keep hanging out with her, and see what happens."
And it looked like things were moving fast between the pair as they grew closer and they seemed to forget any romance waiting outside the house.
However, Sarah has denied having sex with the lothario after they were spotted getting frisky under the sheets as they shared a bed.
Meanwhile, former housemate Trisha Paytas has claimed the romance is "fake", and just being played out for the cameras.
Sarah has admitted she feels "terrible" about snogging Chad during a heart-to-heart with the hunky American.
Sarah told Chad they would need to take their foot off the pedals when it came to their romance as she had someone on the outside and did not want to hurt them.
She added: "I just don’t want to make a fool out of anybody."
The pair are now in a relationship it seems but in a bizarre twist Chad has risked upsetting Sarah by appearing topless in a video with Zoe.

“But now that he’s back in LA they have been spending more time together – with Chad even helping Zoe with her new YouTube channel."
