CBB’s Shaun Williamson, who played Barry in EastEnders, nominates Mob Wives star Marissa Jade to face the public eviction
CELEBRITY Big Brother's Shaun Williamson has named Mob Wives star Marissa Jade as his killer nomination choice.
The soap actor, best known for playing Barry in EastEnders, was put on the spot by Big Brother after failing to complete his launch night task.
He had been secretly instructed to make the housemates believe that he was shaking with nerves, with a double reward if he successfully passed the task.
On completion, he would have won immunity for himself and Sandi Bogle from the first public vote AND the chance to make two killer nominations.
But unfortunately for Shaun, although he did carry out Big Brother's requests, he failed to act nervously enough for top marks.
That meant he only passed half the task.
He was called into the Diary Room and his chat with Big Brother was aired to the whole house.
They all cheered and gasped as they realised he'd been on a secret mission.
Looking nervous, Shaun listened as Big Brother told him: "You were certainly not the most nervous housemate in Big Brother history.
"In fact, you weren't even the most nervous housemate in the house tonight.
"So you only win half of your reward.
"You have one killer nomination.
"Shaun, you must now deliver your killer nomination and the person you choose will definitely face the public vote."
Shaun looked hesitant before naming Marissa as his pick.
She told the housemates: "I'm not upset, it's okay. I understand it's a game."
Shaun was the first housemate to enter the CBB house on Tuesday night and he was immediately called into the Diary Room and set on his secret task.
Big Brother had told him: "BB has a very special secret mission for you and to succeed you must draw on your years of acting experience to transform into the most nervous housemate in the history of Big Brother.
“As each of your fellow celebrity housemates enter the house, it must be instantly noticeable that you are suffering from a severe case of first night nerves.
“In fact, the more housemates that enter, the more your nerves should escalate.
“As well as showcasing your inner angst at all times, Big Brother will also give you a series of nerve wracking challenges throughout the evening.
“As if nerves weren’t bad enough, you will also be hearing voices in your head as Big Brother will be talking to you secretly through a secret earpiece.
“Shaun if you are successful in your mission you will win a very special reward. However, if you fail you will get a punishment that will make your first night nerves look like a stroll through Albert Square.”
As part of the task, he had to make strange requests of the other housemates such as getting Sarah Harding to sing a song with him, share a lengthy hug with Derek Acorah, entice Chad Johnson to stroke his chin, and ask Brandi Glanville to tip water over his face.
There was a glitch with Shaun's earpiece during the task, however, which meant he couldn't hear all of Big Brother's instructions properly.
The aftermath of the task will air on Wednesday night's episode.
CBB continues 9pm on Channel 5
