Celebrity Big Brother’s Derek Acorah is surrounded by ‘orbs’ in the house – after admitting he’s taking his ‘spirit guide’ Sam in with him
CELEBRITY Big Brother viewers spotted what appeared to be ghostly orbs hovering around Derek Acorah after the TV psychic revealed he’s taking his spirit guide Sam into the house with him.
The Most Haunted star made a shocking revelation about his contact with the spirit world - and fans seem to have spotted proof that he was telling the truth.
Derek was among the stars who headed into the iconic compound last night to kick off the latest series of the fly-on-the-wall show.
But before he walked into the new house, he revealed a special guest would be accompanying him.
Derek mentioned his spirit guide named Sam in his entrance video, and was then quizzed about him by host Emma Willis.
He then revealed he expected to attract a plenty of ghostly presences during his time in the house.
Derek said: "Because a lot of people have actually worked in these grounds over a long time and the residual energy of their physical stays here."
Viewers are now convinced he's right as they spotted what appeared to be ghostly orbs hovering around him in the house.
In a video clip of Derek talking to the other housemates, a strange white object seems to appear beside him.
The orb appears to hover close by as Derek gets to know his new pals and looks as if it is floating behind Trisha Paytas.
Derek rose to fame by making psychic predictions on television in the 1990s.
He claims to be able to communicate with the dead and has visited many spooky locations with camera crews for his show Most Haunted.
The show has been on and off television since 2002 and has been presented by Yvette Fielding who claimed none of the show is acted or faked.
However, many remain sceptical and in 2012 a star of Most Haunted – Dr Ciaran O’Keeffe – claimed the show was nothing more than “showmanship and dramatics”.
Derek was also involved in a séance attempting to communicate with the late Michael Jackson in 2009.
He is taking a break from his 2017 tour called Whispers from Heaven to enter the CBB house.
