Love Island’s Chloe Crowhurst hints the show WILL be back earlier than expected with a winter version
Fans are desperate to find out if they will be given a second fix of the saucy show in January
LOVE Island's Chloe Crowhurst has given the strongest hint yet that the show WILL be back earlier than expected with a winter version.
Fans are desperate to find out if they will be given a second fix of the saucy show this year - and Chloe has given them hope that the show will soon be heading back to TV.
Chloe, 21, has been signed up to test out her TV presenting skills on This Morning, and she appeared to drop a spoiler as she declared she may go back to the show as a correspondent for "Winter Love Island".
She made the big reveal while she was hosting a quiz night at Essex at hot spot La Sala with former stars of the show Nathan Massey and Scott Thomas.
She said: "I love doing This Morning and they loved having me.
"There might be something with me coming back as their reporter for Winter Love Island."
Chloe also joked that she would love to take over Caroline Flack's presenting role.
She added: "I'd love to be a presenter on the Winter Love Island series as well - which might work out... Let's see."
The quiz took place at showbiz hangout La Sala in Chloe's native Essex, which has become known for its celebrity clientele including Mark Wright, Dele Ali, and Tom Hardy.
The trendy restaurant, which is also known for its popular sister venue in Marbella, is co owned by football super agent Rob Segal and has become a favourite for stars of sport and entertainment.
Chloe comments come amid reports ITV bosses are planning a new series to rival Big Brother this winter – and they’ve already got a team looking for a suitable location.
The Scouts are already looking for potential stars and they are on the hunt in Tenerife rather than Mallorca, because it would be too cold there at that time of year.
MORE FROM LOVE ISLAND
ITV has however since denied the claims there will be another series this January, but fans are hoping the winter series plan goes ahead.
The reports suggest the show would start a few weeks after I’m A Celebrity ends – meaning it would launch at the same time as January’s Celebrity Big Brother.
This series of Love Island completely overtook Big Brother in the ratings and according to reports, bosses think it could even beat the celebrity version which launched last night.
A source told the paper: “The public have shown they can’t get enough of Love Island and this year has been the show’s ‘watercooler moment’.
“ITV is really keen to exploit the massive momentum it’s got at the minute and bosses are thinking really big all the time.”
The insider added: “Producers smell blood. They reckon Big Brother has had its day and one more smash-hit series of their show at the same time would push it over the edge.
“There’s a new king of reality TV in town and we know it.”
