Celebrity Big Brother 2017 kicks off with a scorned housewife, a horny US reality star and an EastEnders legend as stars compete to win £50,000 prize
CELEBRITY Big Brother kicked off last night with 15 big name stars – including a very famous housewife and an EastEnders legend – entering the re-vamped house.
Emma Willis, who announced a major twist at the very beginning of the show, didn’t disappoint as she welcomed the big names to the stage and attempted to keep their bad language, wardrobe choices and libidos under control.
EastEnders legend Shaun Williamson was the first star to enter this year’s competition.
As soon as the actor walked into the house, he was tasked with a secret mission and given a hidden ear-piece.
The actor, who The Sun Online exclusively revealed as a contestant earlier this month, was told he had to transform into the show's most nervous housemate.
Shaun didn't disappoint but disaster struck when his earpiece failed later on in the evening.
The second contestant to join Shaun in the house was Sarah Harding, who as we revealed as one of the housemates back in June.
Sarah told Emma Willis she was "bricking it" about going on the show but admitted she'd decided to go into the house because she wanted the public to see the "real" her.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun just hours before she entered the house, Sarah promised she was a changed woman.
She said: "I played up to a caricature when I was in the band, always pouting in photos and being the entertainer."
And she's vowed to be on her best behaviour in the house, adding: "I won’t be drinking much, I’d like to keep a level head, stay sane and avoid dramas."
Once inside the house, Barry was given his first task and told to see if he could get Sarah to sing with him.
He pulled it off with panache and the pair were soon merrily crooning along together.
Their merry rendition soon stopped after the arrival of the third housemate, Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson.
His sister Louise Thompson was there to support him along with Binky Felstead's boyfriend Josh Patterson
The third celebrity to enter the house was celebrity psychic Derek Acorah.
He told Emma he would taking his spirit pal Sam into the house with him for advice and guidance and admitted he thought he had "fun running through his bones".
After Derek, Mob Wives star Marissa Jane entered the house and bowled over fans with her form fitting dress.
Introducing herself as a "milf", Marissa walked out to a chorus of cheers from the crowds.
Next up was Sandi Bogle, who wowed the crowds with her new look.
The Gogglebox star showed off her cleavage in a dress that was open to the navel.
Her outfit proved less than successful as the evening went on however.
And as the housemates settled in, her dress accidentally popped open and exposed one of her breasts.
Following Sandi into the house was Bachelor star Chad Johnson.
The reality TV star didn't disappoint in the shock stakes and proudly told Emma he was up for having sex in the house.
And once inside he admitted he would happily get another housemate pregnant if it meant he would win the £50,000 prize.
Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer was next out of the door and was all smiles when she walked out to meet Emma.
The Sun Online revealed the actress had signed a six figure deal to appear on the show, but Helen joked as she went in that Channel 5 bosses were actually paying her £5 million to be in the house.
Playing up to the cameras, the businessman told Emma he was determined to win the show and was willing to pull out all of the stops to impress the ladies in the house.
Following the British reality star, Real Housewives Of Beverley Hills' Brandi Glanville stormed in with an expletive ridden introduction video.
The reality star branded Leann Rimes a "c***" after opening up to Big Brother viewers about the time the singer stole her now ex-husband.
And it was later revealed she'd decided not to tell her children about going on the show.

Ex On The Beach's Jordan Davies made a big impression as he followed her out.
The reality star boasted he would stay in the competition longer than his ex-girlfriend Megan McKenna - despite vowing never to speak about her again.
Jordan also struggled to control himself around Emma and the handsome star flirted with her outrageously.
Once inside the house, his libido appeared to be raging out of control as he confessed he wanted to bed Helen.
Next up was Trisha Paytus - the former escort who promised to tell all on her £50,000-a-time celebrity romps.
The American starlet flounced out to a chorus of boos and told Emma she could already feel she was unpopular with the viewers at home.
Jemma Lucy put on an eye-popping display as she entered the show in a very revealing two piece suit.
The reality star - who counts Gaz Beadle among her famous exes - clung onto Emma and admitted she was feeling nervous as she arrived.
X Factor star Amelia Lily followed Jemma into the house.
She squealed as she ran down the stairs and, just like Jemma and Sarah, admitted she was feeling nervous about being locked away for so long.
The final celebrity to enter the house was Love Island's original star Paul Danan.
He grinned as he walked towards Emma before giving her an enormous hug.
He said: "I did a Pulp Fiction, like when she snorts the heroin.
"It was so dangerous as I didn't even know how to take it, that you were meant to use foil, or inject, or even smoke it, so I snorted it as I’d done cocaine and thought it was like that."
With the civilian version of the show ending on July 28, Emma and Rylan Clark-Neal had just three days to relax before the start of the celebrity version of the show.
Rylan resumed his hosting duties on Big Brother's Bit On The Side which started last night.
For the 2017 series of civilian Big Brother, contestants were placed in the usual building, which had been decked out with a Brexit-inspired theme inside.
However for Celebrity Big Brother 2017 the house has been transformed in to a spa-style retreat.
The changes, possible inspired by Love Island, mean this year's batch of celebrities will be living it up in the lap of luxury.
The house includes a huge salon area, pastel colours and sky blue walls, trendy furniture and numerous plants, as well as jacuzzi pools inside and out.
The introduction for this year's show told fans: “It’s a tough gig being a celeb.
“They deserve a place to unwind, away from the cameras and where is this season’s hottest star retreat.. Celebrity Big Brother."
After the 2016 series, the site of the house underwent its biggest renovation and extension since 2002 and plans revealed that another separate house had been built — with its own garden.
The old house is still being used this year for tasks which means there are now three separate task rooms.
Meanwhile the eye-shaped studio entrance and outdoor studio where the live audience gathers has been replaced.
