Remember the very first series of Celebrity Big Brother? There wasn’t even a hot tub!
Compared to now, the house was a tiny shack - and didn't even have a hot tub!
CELEBRITY Big Brother has seen a HUGE amount of changes from when it first launched in 2002 on Channel 4.
Before it became a glam location, it was pretty much just a bedsit. Here's a few things you might have forgotten about the first series way back when...
There were only six contestants
Instead of the bumper crop we have become used to, the first series of Celebrity Big Brother only had six contestants.
These were funny man Jack Dee, TV hosts Anthea Turner and Claire Sweeney, boxer Chris Eubank, Boyzone star Keith Duffy, and TV personality Vanessa Feltz.
Each participant was doing it to raise money for the charity Comic Relief, with the money raised in the phone-in votes going into the Red Nose Day bi-annual telethon.
As a result, none of them were paid for their involvement.
It only lasted eight days
While the show is now stretched out to just under a month, CBB1 was short and sweet with only eight days inside the compound, at the time located in Bow, East London.
Jack Dee was eventually crowned the winner of the overall series, despite earning the most nominations of anyone in the house in the duration of their stay.
Claire Sweeney came second, and Keith Duffy third.
The house was rubbish
The first BB house was completely stripped back to the bare essentials for the housemates to live in.
This included no washing machine - so they were instructed to wash their clothes by hand.
However, they did all get their own beds – something that the show later stopped giving – and men and women were given separate dorms.
The walls were also barely furnished, and the diary room consisted of a plain white background with a simple diary room chair.
They were also instructed to look after chickens in a coop, and use the eggs they lay for their own cooking.
Jack Dee made a run for it one eviction night
While the essential rule of the show is ‘no contact with the outside world’, Jack Dee broke a major rule by running out on day six during Anthea’s eviction.
He charged to his wife and greeted her, but was quickly sent back inside to complete his stay.
Vanessa Feltz’s scribbling meltdown
After being put up for the public vote, Vanessa Feltz let her rebel side run free and stole the chalk used for the shopping board and began frantically writing on the kitchen table.
Fellow housemates Jack Dee and Claire Sweeney claimed to be worried about her mental stability, but Vanessa claims she was just bored of her surroundings.
"It was a blinding moment when I suddenly realised that there was no Big Brother," she said. "It was just a researcher."
"I suddenly thought I'm not going to give back the chalk we had for the shopping list."
She has since returned for the spin-off shows and one-off appearances as part of tasks.
