When are Love Island's Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies presenting Good Morning Britain?
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies have joined Good Morning Britain for a week, from Monday August 28 to Friday, September 1.
The couple are guest hosting Richard Arnold’s showbiz and entertainment slot while he is on holiday.
In July The Sun revealed that the pair had landed the joint presenting role and Kem confirmed the news, saying: “So basically we’re going to be taking our best mate Piers’ job…
“Only joking, in August we’re going to be bringing you the best showbiz news.”
The pair have been involved in a fierce tug-of-war between ITV and Channel 4.
A source told The Sun: “Since Amber and Kem won, they’ve been inundated with offers.
“They’re both very keen to go down that route, and ITV and Channel 4 have shown interest. But they couldn’t pass up the chance to host Good Morning Britain.”
Who are Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies?
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies rose to fame when they appeared on Love Island in 2017.
The couple beat off competition from their fellow Islanders to be crowned the winners of the show, winning £50,000.
Kem was previously a hair dresser with a long list of celeb clients, while Amber was a dancer who worked in London’s circus themed nightclub Cirque Le Soir.
What else is in the pipeline for Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies?
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies have already said they want to get married and have children, but they also have big plans career wise.
Kem is hoping to release his own hair care range and is also hoping to launch a music career with fellow Islander Chris Hughes.
The couple have also revealed they would be up for doing their own reality TV show and it’s thought they are already in talks with ITV.
Kem told The Sun: “I think we would be entertaining. It would be good – we would be like the next Gavin and Stacey.”
