MONTANA Brown and her boyfriend Alex Beattie left the Love Island reunion party separately - after denying they had split in a TV interview branded "awkward" by viewers.
The 21-year-old student was snapped trying to keep a low profile as she exited the wrap celebrations on Sunday night alongside fellow islander Simon Searles, with no Alex in sight.
Clad in a pretty, shimmering figure-hugging dress, she hid her face from the cameras at one point while exiting the club following a night of partying alongside the whole Love island cast and crew.
She was joined by ex-islander Simon, 28, who was dressed in an all-black ensemble.
They had earlier posed together for a selfie inside the party.
Montana and Alex, 22, denied splitting when quizzed by Caroline Flack, 37, about their relationship status on the reunion show - despite The Sun exclusively revealing last week they have called time on their romance.
They both insisted it was the fact Alex lives in Newcastle and Montana is from Hertfordshire that is keeping them apart.
"We just live at opposite ends of the country," said Alex.
Montana agreed: "It's not true, he lives way up north."
Then Caroline cheekily asked Alex if Montana had said she loves him yet, to which he replied no and Montana looked uncomfortable.
It was all branded rather "awkward" by viewers, who took to social media in droves to share their thoughts on the pair.
The Sun exclusively revealed last week how Montana and Alex had split after leaving the villa.
A source told The Sun: “Montana is keen to follow her dreams as a TV presenter and has been attending meetings this week to get the wheels in motion.
“She doesn’t like partying and isn’t a big drinker so personal appearances in nightclubs aren’t really her thing.
“Instead she is ambitious and very much a career woman – her relationship with Alex is going to take a back seat.”
MORE FROM THE VILLA
Montana had been open in the villa and after the couple's dumping that she does not yet love Alex, despite him dropping the L-bomb on her during their time together on the show.
She said on This Morning last week: "I don’t love Alex yet, no.
“I’m really true to myself. I don’t want to just say it if I don’t mean it.”
Montana added on Loose Women that she had been "shocked" when Alex confessed his love - but insisted she did see a future with him.
"It really shocked me because I wasn’t expecting it," she said.
"I take a long time to fall in love with someone. But hopefully that is something to come.
"I really hope I am still with Alex in five years. It is really early days so you can't say.”
Despite The Sun reporting that the couple have split, they still took to social media during the reunion show to share a slew of selfies showing them cosying up and looking happy.
They finished in fifth place on Love Island, narrowly missing out on the finale.
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies won the show, taking home the £50,000 prize last Monday night.
