Love Island’s Chloe Crowhurst spotted having a tense moment with fellow contestant Ellisha-Jade White outside the TV studio before filming the reunion show
LOVE Island's Chloe Crowhurst didn't seem happy to bump into fellow islander Ellisha-Jade White at the reunion party.
The two women appeared to be caught in a tense moment outside the ITV studios in London on Sunday night before filming the last Love Island: Aftersun episode of the series.
Clad in a figure-hugging orange dress, blonde Chloe was seen leaning backwards with one hand out in a defensive pose while speaking with Ellisha-Jade.
Clasping a cigarette in one hand and looking tense, the star didn't seem too interested in engaging Ellisha-Jade in conversation.
While Chloe greeted fellow islander Shannen Reilly McGrath with a hug and kiss on the cheek, it didn't look as if there was any affection for Ellisha-Jade, who was wearing a curve-skimming cream dress with black lace overlay.
It all seemed quite awkward and tense between the women as they stood outside the TV studios a good distance away from each other - despite the fact they never crossed paths on the show.
Their standoff was watched by another islander, Rob Lipsett, who seemed to find it all quite amusing.
Neither of the women made any reference on social media to what may have caused their apparent discomfort, and instead focused on posting photos showing them both having a good time with their respective island friends.
Ellisha-Jade's time on Love Island was relatively brief.
The entrepreneur from Southampton arrived at the villa alongside five other women as part of a twist mid-way through the series, which saw the male islanders sent to a second villa, Casa Amor, to live with the new ladies.
Back at the old villa, the girls were shacked up with six hunky new men.
MORE FROM THE VILLA
It was the infamous twist that led to all sorts of drama including Kem Cetinay snogging Chyna Ellis and Marcel Somerville planting a smacker on Shannen Reilly McGrath during a task.
After a few days, there was a recoupling and at Casa Amor, the boys could bring one of the new women over to the villa with them and dump their current partner.
The new women not chosen would be dumped.
Unfortunately for Ellisha-Jade, she ended up going home after not being picked at the recoupling, meaning her time in the villa was relatively short.
She later posted a blog to saying: "Our recoupling wasn't shown and we were all pretty upset when we watched it back to see that none of the nice things the boys said about us when choosing to stick with their girls, was aired.
"I feel like maybe we didn't really get much of a shot at love at all and had hoped that something else might happen after and that it wouldn't be the end but sadly it was."
Chloe, meanwhile, was an original islander who arrived on day one.
She ended up getting her marching orders alongside partner Sam Gowland, when they were dumped on day 23.
Sam later returned for a second chance at love and made it all the way to day 46 with new partner Georgia Harrison, while Chloe kickstarted a TV presenting career back home.
Since leaving the villa she's been regularly hosting a Love Island spot on This Morning and re-kindled her romance with ex Jon Clark.
She had a massive public falling out with Towie star Jon when he accused her of entering Love Island without telling him. He claimed she was his girlfriend at the time she signed up for the show, but Chloe insisted she had been single.
Despite mud-slinging on social media and blasting each other in public, the couple managed to reconnect after Chloe was dumped, and have been seen in recent weeks enjoying loved-up holidays in the sun as they give their relationship another chance.
