She told the panel: “I said when I went on that I wouldn’t have sex on camera but when you are in the moment you forget about the cameras.

“I have zero regrets, I look back on the journey I went on, the people that I bonded with, the people that left and the people that stayed with us and the relationships that you form, boyfriend wise and friendship wise are just so strong.”

Nadia Sawalha wasn’t entirely convinced though and asked her whether she was concerned about her digital footprint and the fact she had sex on TV would be around forever.

Montana replied:  “I never thought I would do that and it was something I really did consider  but when you are relationship with someone and you spend 24/7 with them. I don’t think a lot of people spend 24/7 with one person for very long and felt right at the time for me at the time when I did it and I don’t regret it.”

Saira Khan praised her saying she didn’t just have sex with the first man who entered the villa and she had waited for her Mr. Right.

Montana’s mum had previously made it clear she wasn’t impressed with Montana’s decision and said she thought her daughter’s sex scenes with Alex had been created purely to make good TV.

Discussing the moment he dropped the ‘L’ bomb, she said: “It really shocked me because I wasn’t expecting it. I take a long time to fall in love with someone. But hopefully that is something to come.”
