FROM ELSTREE TO MALLORCA?

Big Brother’s Ellie Young and Sam Chaloner BOTH want to go on Love Island – despite now dating each other

ELLIE Young and Sam Chaloner have thrown their hats in the ring for the next series of Love Island – despite falling for each other on Big Brother.

Speaking separately to The Sun Online, the stars have both said that now they have been booted from the house they are open to trying their luck elsewhere.

Ellie – who also stars on ITV2’s Ibiza Weekender – reckons her status as an unlucky in love star makes her a perfect candidate for the next series of Love Island.

She told us: “Love Island? Oh literally, I just love TV stuff, I love working in this kind of thing, I think it’s fun.”

“I’m somebody who just falls into somebody’s trap. If they give me just a little bit of attention I’m like ‘oh! they like me!’ So Love Island would be the perfect show for me.”

During her time in this series of Big Brother, the bubbly blonde was seen having her heartbroken by hunky Lotan Carter as he failed to reciprocate her feelings – before housemate Sam won her over with his charms.

And despite the pair finally sealing the deal after leaving the house and now starting a romance together, Sam has not ruled out the possibility of joining another Love Island cast either.

When quizzed about whether or not he would join the addictive ITV2 show – which has trounced Big Brother this year in the ratings, he said: “Yeah definitely, why not? You only live once at the end and it’s experience isn’t it. So yeah, I would definitely love to do another show.”

He added: “I’ve always wanted to do Big Brother because it’s been on a lot longer than Love Island.

“I’ve always wanted to do Big Brother, always. So obviously, when I got the opportunity, I just took it, I didn’t think of anything else.

“And now i’ve done it, I’m buzzing.”

In the meantime, the pair are content in getting to know each other a little bit more – and have even been on a double date since leaving the house last Friday alongside Chanelle McCleary.

Ellie gushed: “[It’s going] really well! We were on BOTS together, and we went out for a steak, which we said we were gonna do.

“Well, we went with Chanelle and her boyfriend, and they don’t do cheap ones, like, I were only going to take him to Wetherspoons!

“But we ended up going to a really fancy one – it were £22.50 for a steak! But I tried to play it cool like ‘yeah yeah I can afford that!’

“I could’ve got four steaks if I went to where I were going!” she added.
