KEM Cetinay and Amber Davies were crowned the winners of Love Island 2017 last night as the nation's favourite TV show drew to a close.
The couple, who have already said they could get married, proved they took part in the ITV2 series to find love as they decided to split the £50,000 prize pot when Caroline Flack gave one of them the option to steal the cash.
Fans of the show went wild after it was revealed they had won, and Kem and Amber hugged and kissed as the news sunk in.
But their happiness quickly turned to shock after Caroline announced they had to make a choice about whether or not to share the cash.
The former X Factor star gave Amber and Kem two envelopes, one that contained a note which read £50,000 and another that was empty.
After choosing their envelopes, Kem and Amber had to then decide whether to steal the money or share it.
Amber grinned as she realised hers was empty, meaning the power was in Kem's hands.
As Caroline asked him what he wanted to do, Kem laughed and told her: “Well obviously we'll be splitting it.”
Amber grinned and the pair ran towards each other to embrace as their fans rejoiced.
Model Jamie Jewitt and Explosive Ordnance Disposal worker Camilla Thurlow came second to the winning couple, while Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood came third in the competition and Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville were placed in fourth.
The start of the show was dominated by Caroline's outfit however, with the presenter wowing fans in a very revealing dress.
Before the winners were announced, viewers were treated to the last task of the series which saw the couples vying for the top spot during a tango lesson.
The results were hilarious, with Camilla headbutting Jamie during their sensual routine.
Camilla explained: “Jamie and I had a couple of hiccups. He may have accidentally punched me in the stomach and I accidentally headbutted him.”
However once the evening came, the islanders had managed to fine tune their moves.
Standing facing one another, they put on an impressive display of their newfound skills.
The final also had a lot of heartwarming moments, with the contestants vowing to love one another forever in a series of sweet declarations.
Fan favourite Chris melted hearts when he penned a poem for Olivia, bringing many at home to tears.
He told her: “Olivia’s first impression will remain cemented in my soul as one of the most beautiful girls I’ve ever seen.
“Our journey is ending where another will begin, and to me you’re Snowy, if I was Tin Tin.
“Your cuddles in the morning and your kisses at night, but your freckles are one of my favourite sights.”
Kem also made it crystal clear that he and Amber were going to be forever.
He said: “When we talk about our lives and the things that we’ve been through, it’s mad to meet a girl who’s so caring and true.
“The relationship got rocky and we both started to fear, the problem was we were scared to show we care.
“The thought of being vulnerable was pushing each other apart. But when you find a girl that special, you have to follow your heart.”
Camilla made sure Jamie knew how she felt too, whispering that she loved him in a blink-and-you-would-miss-it moment.
Those listening carefully heard the posh bomb disposal expert say “Love you, bye!” to the Calvin Klein model near the start of the episode.
Speaking to Caroline during the live final, Chris admitted the islanders had enjoyed “the best day ever” during their last 24 hours in the villa.
Chris said: “It was the best night ever, the best time we had in here.
Olivia added: “Unfortunately he gave me all the feels, it was amazing.”
As they were voted out, Chris and Olivia appeared glum until they were reunited with their baby son Cash.
Caroline grinned as she handed over the doll to the couple, who held him aloft for the crowds to see.
Marcel and Gabby spiced up the last episode by telling Caroline they couldn't wait to get into bed with one another.
During the series, the pair vowed not to sleep together but now they're out, that's all changed.
As celebrities and fans of the show tuned in to find out who would win, there were two notable names missing.
Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever decided to swerve Caroline's invitation to the final, after they revealed they never wanted to see "Muggy" Mike Thalassitis ever again.
Kem and Amber recorded a message of thanks which was played out online following their win.
Essex boy Kem said: “Thank you so much for voting for us. We know it's been an emotional rocky ride. Thank you so much. It's amazing.
Amber added: “We love you so much. Thank you!”
The finale marked the end of the most successful series of the show to date, with a record breaking number of romps and more twists than an Alton Towers rollercoaster.
The series was even extended because it proved so popular, with big name celebs including Liam Gallagher and Stormzy obsessed with the ITV2 dating show.
