David and Victoria Beckham’s ‘new mansion has ‘his and hers’ wings’ amid rumours they are leading separate lives
The couple have grown apart as Victoria 'hates' David's partying as she works "harder than ever" on her fashion line
DAVID and Victoria Beckham's new mansion reportedly "has 'his' and 'her' wings" amid reports the famous couple are "leading separate lives".
It comes after The Sun revealed how the A-list couple's marriage is going through a rough patch.
Their massive mansion has been "created from three barns" and the property is so big that "a huge party could go on in one part of the house and guests in the other wing 50 yards away would be none the wiser".
The two wings are "separated by a gallery" and the property is due to be completed later this summer.
A source told the newspaper: "The planning permission was pretty restrictive and stated the three barns had to stay separate.
"It actually works out well for David, Victoria and the kids. If they are all driving each other mad, they can retreat into these wings like they are living in separate houses.
"It is handy for Soho Farmhouse, so David can escape for a party whenever he fancies it – and that seems to be one reason he chose to buy that property."
Meanwhile, far away from his country pile - David is currently on a camping road trip in America with his pals.
The retired footballer has been posting pictures and updates of his incredible trip with friends of him riding the highways of America, camping out under the stars and swimming in lakes, on his Instagram account.
While Victoria has focused on her fashion career, mainly in London but with hops to Paris, LA and East Asia, David has been on dozens of lads’ holidays with pal Gardner and bonding trips with Brooklyn in LA.
And now he's on another one, though it is isn't exactly a luxury holiday befitting a multi-millionaire.
David’s solo jetset lifestyle has seen him over the past six months visit Madrid, Geneva, Shanghai and Paris, plus enjoy an African safari with the kids, while in May he appeared at the star-studded Cannes AmfAR gala without his wife.
He spent April in LA, only to return to join Victoria at Buckingham Palace to pick up her OBE.
He returned there for Harper’s birthday this month. While Victoria is increasingly committed full-time to her fashion work, working ungodly hours with her tight-knit team of staff, David has taken on a primary parenting role.
The Sun first revealed serious pressures on the Beckham’s marriage in September, 2015. We told how they had started to live increasingly separate lives after Posh missed close pal Guy Ritchie’s wedding.
But since our story, following the advice of Simon Fuller, the couple have decided to start using their massive social media following to present a constant image of being the perfect couple.
Every note or birthday present is shared on their Instagram story, where they both document every aspect of their lives.
He has 38.7million followers on the social media site, while she has 16.4million — a combination they feel is more powerful than traditional media channels.
For example, on their 18th wedding anniversary earlier this month he wrote: “Wow, we really did this. Happy Anniversary to an amazing wife, mummy and strong businesswoman.” She replied: “I love you. Kisses x”.
And despite warnings from friends and advisers, the couple have decided to transform into a showbiz family, with their four offspring now involved in the family business.
Their children have already been launched into the showbiz world, with Brooklyn releasing his first photography book earlier this year.
Romeo, 14, made his debut as a model for Burberry in 2012 aged just ten, while Cruz, 12, launched a music career in December with his festive charity single If Every Day Was Christmas.
Their only daughter, youngest child Harper, six, has also been lined up for the limelight with training from the English National Ballet and regular sessions at prestigious stage school the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
