Rylan hands Sarah Greene a tissue as she tears up on This Morning during emotional segment on adoption
SARAH Greene broke down in tears on This Morning today as she made a triumphant return to screens.
The former kids’ TV presenter and Rylan Clark-Neal were interviewing Long Lost Family host Nicky Campbell about the heart-wrenching work he does when she started to cry.
Sarah was already welling up as Nicky spoke about what to expect from the show, and then a clip that showed a woman who was to be reunited with her birth mother proved very emotional for the her.
As the cameras went back to Sarah, Rylan and Nicky, she had tears welling, and became increasingly emotional as she continued to speak to Nicky.
As the tears began to flow, Rylan gave a tissue and Nicky held her hand.
However, ever the pro, she managed to conduct the rest of the interview, with her stint on the show today drawing in countless complimentary tweets.
Sarah used to present Going Live! with Phillip Schofield from 1987 to 1993, and viewers were delighted to have her back on screens.
