When is Girlfriends on ITV?
Shooting began on the six-part drama at the beginning of July 2017 and it premiered in the first week of the new year.
The final episode of the series airs on Wednesday, February 7 at 9pm on ITV.
It's up against Silent Witness on BBC One, The New Builds Are Coming: Battle in the Countryside on BBC Two and My Millionaire Migrant Boss on Channel 4.
If you miss it, you will be able to catch up shortly after on the channel's streaming service, ITV Player.
What is Girlfriends about?
Girlfriends is a contemporary story of Linda, Sue and Gail as they struggle with the responsibilities that come with being a modern woman of a certain age.
Each of the ladies has their own set of problems to deal with and the sudden death of Linda's husband brings the friends together again.
From divorce, job loss, ageing mothers and their responsibilities as grandparents, the Girlfriends' friendships will be tested in a dramatic fashion.
Written and directed by Kay Mellor (The Syndicate, In The Club), Polly Hill, Head of Drama for ITV says; "Kay celebrates women of a certain age and female friendship through this wonderful and compelling story."
Who is in the cast of Girlfriends?
The series stars Miranda Richardson, Zoe Wanamaker and Phyllis Logan in the three lead roles.
They will be supported by several other well-known faces such as Chris Fountain, Anthony Head, Wendy Craig and many more.
