Love Island’s Camilla ‘dumped Prince Harry’ over her fears of being rejected by him
LOVE Island's Camilla Thurlow has steadfastly refused to discuss her rumoured fling with Prince Harry - but that hasn't stopped constant speculation about what really happened.
And the latest claim to emerge about Cam and Harry's alleged coupling three years ago suggests she was the one who ended things with the fifth in line to the throne.
While many girls would no doubt love the idea of a prince being totally smitten with them, is alleging Cam called time on a potential romance with Harry because she was too reserved to open up to him.
A source claiming to be close to Camilla told the mag: "Harry thought she was amazing and seemed to want something serious, but she refused to open up to him through fear of being rejected.
"It was Camilla's reservations that stopped their romance from going anywhere."
Bomb disposal expert Camilla, 28, was linked to Prince Harry, 32, back in 2014 when they were reportedly seen looking cosy at a London nightclub.
However, neither of them has ever spoken about the alleged fling or confirmed anything even happened.
Camilla remained tight-lipped when quizzed about the rumours on Love Island, simply saying: "Honestly, a lady never tells."
And she refused to name-check Harry - now loved up with actress Meghan Markle - when asked what her claim to fame is, instead focusing on a sporting achievement.
"I don’t think it’s my claim to fame but my proudest achievement was playing lacrosse for Scotland in the junior world championships," she said.
“That’s stuck with me as being an important moment. I’m really competitive but it channels itself in certain ways.”
The blonde beauty has endured a bit of a rollercoaster in the villa when it comes to romance.
Her coupling with Jonny Mitchell fell apart when he admitted having feelings for fellow islander Tyla Carr, while a brief coupling with Craig Lawson went nowhere.
However, it could be third time lucky for Cam thanks to hunky Calvin Klein model Jamie Jewitt.
Their romance has been going from strength to strength in recent days and they even cemented their villa power couple status by having sex on a recent episode.
A gleeful Cam merrily told Montana Brown the next day: "Jamie put it in last night.
"I can confirm he’s perfect – and he also has a perfect penis.”
It may have come as a surprise to some viewers as Cam had previously been adamant she wouldn't do the deed on TV.
She said on Monday's episode: "We’re just at that stage where things do progress.
"To be honest, I couldn’t help myself. Surprisingly, I’ve never been in bed with a Calvin Klein model before, it was amazing.”
