Love Island’s Tyla Carr’s dad says Jonny Mitchell is ‘definitely not the man for her’ and Mike Thalassitis is ‘too full of himself’ – he would have paired her with Kem
LOVE Island’s Tyla has been with the wrong men the entire time she’s been in the villa, according to her dad – who would have paired her with Kem.
The 24-year-old’s dad who’s also called Jonny, says his daughter is looking for love in the wrong places with Mike Thalassitis and Jonny Mitchell.
Speaking to new! he said: “I know my daughter very well, I’ve lived in Mallorca and Ibiza since she was very young, but she’s spent whole summers with me so I know her type – and Jonny is definitely not it.
“I don’t think he’s the right guy for her.
“He’s nice, but Tyla’s very lively and a real handful.
“She’s sometimes even too much for me!”
And while the 24-year-old may be embarking on a romance with Muggy Mike, her dad isn’t keen on him either.
“She does go for guys like Mike,” he explained to OK!
“But I think he’s a bit too full of himself and they might clash in that respect.”
However it’s not a case of no one being good enough for his daughter, as Jonny reckons that fellow Essex native Kem Cetinay would have been a great match for her.
“Before going in, I would have paired her with Kem,” he told new!
“They have a lot in common and a very similar sense of humour.”
Probably best not to say that around Amber, Jonny.
