Who is Lynda Bellingham’s husband Michael Pattemore, what is the feud with her sons about and how did the Loose Women star die?
Michael has recently found love again after Lynda's death in 2014
LYNDA Bellingham's husband Michael Pattemore has been embroiled in a feud with her sons over her assets since she died in 2014.
Michael has recently found love again and appeared on This Morning in July to discuss it and his on-going battle with her boys, but now it's the turn of Lynda's son Michael Peluso to have his say when he appears on today's Loose Women.
Who is Michael Pattemore?
Michael, 61, is a Spain-based timeshare salesman who Lynda dubbed "Mr Spain" when she spoke about him on Loose Women.
The couple wed in 2008 at St Stephen Walbrook in London on May 31, which was her 60th birthday.
As well as being a property developer, Michael also penned a book called My Lynda: Loving and Losing My Beloved Wife, Lynda Bellingham which he published a year after her death.
Lynda died of bowel cancer in 2014 at the age of 66 and since then Michael has been at war with her sons over her will.
Michael, 33, and Robbie, 28, are her sons from her second marriage to Nunzio Peluso, who she split from in 1994.
Pattemore received backlash from the public after he was seen living an extravagant lifestyle shortly after she died, heading off on an around-the-world trip and posting photos on Twitter profile bearing Lynda's name.
Michael has since found love again with an office manager named Pam, 51.
What happened between Michael and Lynda's sons?
After Lynda's death, Michael later fell out with the boys as they became locked in a bitter battle over the Loose Women star’s estate.
In July, the brothers were disappointed to learn they would only receive £50,000 each from their mother's £5 million estate - with the rest going to their stepdad Michael.
They have also accused him of disrespecting their mother in an interview shortly after her death in which he claimed to have sex with her ghost.
However, Michael has slammed claims he splurged her money saying he's "no gold digger" and that Lynda was in £50,000 of debt when she died.
He told The Mirror: "I’m sorry but how could I be splurging her sons’ inheritance? There was no money.
"Lynda was £50,000 in debt when she died.
“She had a £25,000 overdraft and the rest was spread over a number of credit cards. And I’m the one who’s got to pay them off now that we’ve finally been granted probate on her will.
“I don’t know where her sons have got this notion there are millions swilling around somewhere..."
Michael claims he paid for his round-the-world trip, a new car and a hair transplant with funds he made from his book.
How did Lynda die?
Lynda was dubbed the "nation's favourite mum" thanks to her Oxo adverts, which featured her as a loving wife and mother cooking up mouth-watering meals for her family.
She also appeared on daytime chat show Loose Women between 2007 and 2011 and was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2009.
On July 16, 2013 it was announced that Lynda had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer and said in a statement that she was "not going to die".
But in September 2014, she confirmed the cancer had spread and she only had months to live.
Lynda said she had decided to stop chemotherapy in November so she could have "one last Christmas" with her family but she died in hospital on October 19, 2014.
