Love Island’s Olivia Attwood wants to rekindle her romance with Mike Thalassitis and recouple – leaving ex Chris Hughes heartbroken
RETURNING Islander Mike Thalassitis is set to rock the villa for a second time by rekindling his romance with Olivia Attwood.
The hunk instantly caught the attention of his ex-partner during his arrival back in the show last night and she now wants to give the relationship another go – days after splitting from Chris Hughes.
Speaking to Sam Gowland, who was also voted back into the show along with Mike, Olivia reveals her hopes to recouple with the former footballer who she admits "mugging off" during his first spell on the show.
She says in scenes to air tonight: “Right now, I’d pick Mike.
“I think we’re very compatible. I wish I hadn’t made Mike feel mugged by me but also, I wouldn’t know that me and Chris are so incompatible if I hadn’t tested it.
“It’s done with me and Chris. It’s not a break. We broke up, we’ve had four weeks; we’ve tested the hell out of it. It doesn’t work.
“Mike is banter but he sits and chills and he wouldn’t be bothered about me being loud and being myself, he’d just let me do my thing.”
Chris was left devastated after Olivia ended their romance for good and warned: “Don’t cry again” when the hunk looked upset.
The pair were involved in a heated exchange during Wednesday’s episode as Olivia raged that she could no longer be friends with Chris.
During their spat she said: “Why are you feeding back my own words to me?
“I wish I hadn’t wasted the last two weeks trying to make it work with you.
“I’m not your best mate Chris – I don’t want to be f***ing best mates. If I wanted you as a f***ing mate I wouldn’t have gone through all that with Mike would I?
But Chris’ bad day quickly turned into a nightmare after he was faced with Mike’s reappearance.

Olivia was shocked to see her former fling walk back into the villa, quickly telling her fellow islanders: “What? Really? Absolutely f***ing speechless.
“My head is gone. The d*** sand is back.”
