Montana Brown’s mum insists her daughter has been pressurised to have sex on TV as she insists the show is FAKE
MONTANA Brown’s mum Sarah has admitted she thinks her daughter’s sex scenes with Alex Beattie were created purely to make good television.
In a damning interview, the 51-year-old has claimed their romp only happened because it was “choreographed” by the production team.
As fans of the show have watched Alex and Montana’s romance develop into something more serious, Sarah isn’t convinced.
She also suggested the “pressured environment” in the villa was what got 21-year-old Montana into bed with Alex – not love.
Speaking to , Sarah explained: A mum doesn’t really want to be involved in that side of her daughter’s life so I would rather not have seen that.
“She has a lot of integrity and high standards. Usually Montana is laid back when she meets somebody and will take her time and obviously she hasn’t.
“It has been an interesting version of Montana which isn’t really her. When she likes somebody, she likes them, but wouldn’t normally go head-first in. Everything seems to be fast-tracked.
“The thing with Alex has been an interesting twist and not necessarily what she would normally be like.
“I presume being in a pressurised environment means the reality is different. She is normally really private.
“I think it must be quite choreographed and I know they are directed, so what you see is not always the reality.”

While Sarah might not be happy about their relationship, Love Island fans couldn't hide their delight when Alex asked Montana to be his girlfriend in last night's show.
Alex told her: “I don’t know how to put it into words because I’ve not had to say it before but, it’s a new experience to have someone in my life that I can just have a really good time with.
"It’s so easy with you, it’s so easy for me to get along with you, talk to you, you’ve made me feel like I’ve connected with you really well and I’ve never really had that before.”
Montana replied: “I’ve surprised myself because at the beginning, I felt myself getting anxious about letting myself have feelings… It’s just been really nice for me to allow myself to like somebody for all the right reasons. I genuinely can’t fault you on anything.
“It’s nice but it’s a bit scary because I feel like each day, I do like you a bit more and I feel like I get closer to you every day as well. I just feel like I’ve got feelings already.”
A spokesperson for ITV denied Sarah's claims and said: “We follow the islanders’ relationships. We do not direct them.”
