Love Island fans in hysterics at Jonny angrily eating pistachio nuts as Tyla flirts with Theo
LOVE Island viewers were delighted by the fantastic moment Jonny Mitchell munched jealously on pistachio nuts while watching Tyla and Theo flirting.
The grumpy loner snacked and stared daggers at Theo – as he showed off his athleticism by jumping across the pool, just when Tyla was saying she wants someone more playful than Jonny.
Seeing Theo’s display, Tyla giggled and said “brilliant” – angering her former villa partner Jonny all the more.
The amazing moment left fans of the show declaring that this was their “favourite episode”, because it seemed that “karma” was finally whacking Jonny in the nuts.
What made it even sweeter was the fact that the girl Jonny cruelly ditched, Camilla, is now head-over-heels with Calvin Klein model Jamie.
Bathing in the glorious moment, one viewer tweeted: “Jonny just needs to eat his nuts & drink that hater-ade.”
Another happy fan wrote: “You don’t understand how happy it makes me to watch Camilla frolicking with a Calvin Klein model and Jonny eating nuts in the corner.”
The 26-year-old business director has become less and less popular with viewers since ditching Camilla for Tyla, before kicking off at Theo for re-coupling with Tyla.
Tyla has been very diplomatic about being re-coupled with Theo, trying to cheer Jonny up and get him involved in a party during last night’s episode.
She even gave him a pity hug when he admitted he told her he felt miserable.
But during a later conversation by the pool Tyla told him he hasn’t successfully won her affections back because of his morose mood.
Fans on Twitter were absolutely loving Jonny’s change of fortunes and binge-eating.
What will happen between Tyla and Theo remains to be seen, but he certainly seems to have the energetic spark she craves.
Meanwhile Camilla and Jamie’s romance continues apace after last night’s episode showed them spending the night in the Hideaway.
